The photos don't do this place justice! Nestled in the walls of the city the property is unique, gorgeous and done up to a really high specification. Rose-marie is so welcoming and the whole stay has the perfect balance of lovely private hotel room and warm family reception. Plenty of privacy but also tonnes of care. Would recommend to all!

Had a lovely 1 night stay with Rosemarie and Chris. Rosemarie couldn't do enough to make our stay more comfortable. Lovely home produced breakfast. 5 mins walk from town centre and restaurants.

Close to the castle and town of Amboise to the right and Leonardo Da Vinci’s house to the left. The rooms are attractively set out with the lower room partially built into the sandstone.

Was such a cool experience to stay in one of the houses on the rock wall, a few meters from the Château du Clos Lucé and all the restaurants. The hosts were super attentive and kind and the room was clean, bright and comfortable. Breakfast with home made jam and yogurt and fresh bread :)

The location was amazing. A short walk to the Chateau, restaurants and shops. Breakfast was lovely. Local cheeses, homemade jam, orange and apple juice, croissants and bread. Oh, and homemade yogurt! Christophe and Rose-Marie were exceptional hosts. We loved that it was unique, not a typical hotel room!

We enjoyed the quirkiness of partial cave dwelling; and Christophe and Rose-Marie were welcoming hosts. We could walk to everything we needed and parking was free. Much of our excellent breakfast was home-grown.

The accommodation is ideally for excursions in Amboise. The hosts are very friendly and helpful. The hosts respond to individual requests and also serve local dishes. It’s not an ordinary, anonymous place; you’re hosted by the family.

Christophe & Rose Marie were exceptional hosts. The breakfast was wonderful. Christophe made us coffee every morning, they supplied croissants, bread, cheeses, rillette & juices. The accommodation was literally a minute from the town centre, bars & cafes. The roads are narrow but you can stop outside for a few minutes to unload suitcases, free parking was 50 mtrs down the road. The room is on the 1st floor so there is a set of stairs to negotiate. If you come in summer the room can get quite warm but there is a fan provided.

The accommodation was in an ideal location near the centre of Amboise. Christophe and Rose-Marie were very helpful. We had breakfast including local homemade produce in a cave which was wonderful.
