We loved staying at Manoir du Parc. We had a very warm welcome from the owners Gaelle and Bruno. Everything we needed to know was explained in detail. The swimming pool was absolutely wonderful after a very hot day (34 degrees) riding to Amboise on our motorcycle. Breakfast came in a basket which was superb and consisted of fresh pastries with butter and jam and a large orange juice. We also had the choice of tea or coffee. The coffee machine in the room was probably one of the best as we like weak coffee and suited our taste. We had a list offered for restaurants and they're very close to the hotel. We chose Chez Bruno in the town and it was brilliant. We had a studio room in the stables and had everything needed including air con which was a godsend. Overall we could base our stay here for a few days to reap the benefits.of the hotel and town. Superb!!

The location is great, 5 minutes walk from the castle and town centre. Gaëlle was lovely when we dealt with her. We turned up early so she allowed us to store bags until the room was ready, then she booked us a taxi when we needed to get to the station on our last day. We had one of the apartments which was a good size for two people, and the cooking facilities were what we needed when we didn't want to eat out. If you order the breakfast basket, that is 12 euros per person but there was that much in it, it did us for 2 days. Rooms were clean and bins changed every day. Amboise is a lovely town to visit and this is a recommended place to stay.

“Perfect a gem in the heart of Amboise.”

Upon arrival we upgraded our room to a garden 'cabana' with a hot tub. The cabana was situated in the lovely quiet grounds of the hotel with a view of Chateau Amboise from the balcony - so relaxing, beautiful, quiet and private. The facilities in the cabana were excellent - a comfy bed, a seating area a bathroom, separate shower and toilet. We opted to source our own supper and enjoy sitting/eating out on our balcony as the sun set. Central to Amboise with the Chateau a 5min walk. Excellent food and wine tasting in the bars in the Chateau walls. Private car parking. A real gem would highly recommend staying at this hotel - lots of variety in accommodation and perfect hosts.

The welcome from Gaelle was fantastic. She let us leave our bags and messaged as soon as our room was available (we had arrived really early and hadn't expected to move in until 3pm, but we were in by 11am)

Warm welcome from the host. Plenty of safe car parking. Short walk into Amboise and the Chateau The apartment we had in the converted stables was roomy and well equipped.

Stayed in two bedroom house onsite. Beautiful property - excellent location in centre of Amboise - house had everything we needed with lovely private outside terrace. Hosts very helpful. Overall would highly recommend.

“Perfect for a stay in Amboise”

Walking distance to castle and restaurants. Free parking. Apartment in the stables was great although we didn’t use the kitchenette. The bed was comfy and large and what a bonus to have air conditioning and electric shutters. Everything very clean. View to garden. Pool was superb - we had it to ourselves on a very hot day! Really lovely place. Treehouse accommodation looked amazing - might stay there next time!

Beautiful property, really well located. Easy to find. Lovely people. Room was perfect for an overnight stay - but we wished we had booked another night to really make the most of it.
