“Warm, welcoming, comfortable and beautiful”

Such a warm and welcoming family. Wonderful breakfasts. Comfortable and spacious rooms with excellent shower and beds. A shared kitchen space for guests with access to full size fridge, range and microwave along with all necessary kitchen equipment including crockery and cutlery.

This was a lovely country setting in a clean and newly built accommodation. The breakfast was very good with home made yogurts, breads, and jams. Hosts were very sweet.

Cedric and Ombeline are lovely, unassuming and welcoming people who have great attention to detail and did everything possible to make our stay comfortable and pleasant. The breakfast was superb and the decor and ambience of the accommodation, which was scrupulously clean, was spot-on. This ranks really highly out of everywhere we have ever stayed. Top quality!

The place is wonderful and they are very friendly hosts! Thank you for all the helpful advice you gave us. The breakfast was delicious, especially the homemade yogurt and jam! The house is very comfortable and incredibly quiet — a perfect place to truly relax. On a clear evening we saw a sky full of stars, and in the morning we woke up to the sound of birds singing. We had a lovely stay and would definitely love to come back again next time!

The hosts of the property were lovely and accommodating. The accomodation was modern with historic touches and the bed linen was fabulous. It was great to have access to a full kitchen for making dinner.

“Beautiful accommodation”

Modern clean room, linen bedsheets, fluffy towels, excellent breakfast and a warm welcome from the host. Amboise is very beautiful and close by with good restaurants, a castle and other tourism spots. There are also a few magnificent Chateau nearby. Well worth staying more than a few nights.

MAISON CHEMIN What a great place! Cédric and his family run a very charming property. All the bedrooms and commun areas are brand new, very Confortable and clean. In the bedrooms, the bed is like heaven and we find some sweet kindness, as a teapot with some Herbs harvested in the garden. The bathroom is huge with soft and big towels. The breakfast is very good, whose high point is the rose homemade yogurt. The guest can use the kitchen (complete with all you can possible imagine) to cook. Besides the house itself is very charming and comfy, they have installed a few days ago a swimming pool, which is very welcoming in the summer hot days. And finally Cedric’s family is very kind and helpful. All these make a stay in Maison Chemin a great experience for those who want to explore the Loire Valley.

From the moment we arrived, we knew we had found something special. The home was spotlessly clean, with spacious interiors and a bed of perfect firmness—exactly what we needed to recover from our long journey. The bathroom and toilet were thoughtfully designed, offering both functionality and a sense of relaxation. Ombeline and Cédric were incredibly kind and patient. Even though we arrived well past the official check-in time due to a travel miscalculation, they waited for us without any sign of impatience. To our surprise, the kitchen was stocked with pasta and homemade sauce—an absolute lifesaver for our late-night hunger, and it was delicious! Breakfast the next morning was just as delightful. Since my daughter had stayed up too late the night before and couldn’t wake up in time, Ombeline and Cédric kindly packed fresh bread for her to enjoy on the road. This thoughtful gesture truly touched our hearts. This place is wonderfully comfortable and filled with warmth. Although the location is far and we may not have the chance to visit this town again, we will always remember the kindness and hospitality we experienced here. Highly recommended to anyone visiting—you will not be disappointed. Just one small tip: try to arrive before dark, as finding the road to the property at night can be a bit tricky.

“Relaxing stay at Amboise”

Located close to all of Amboise’s attractions yet still felt like being in the countryside. Ombeline and Cedric were wonderful hosts.

“Lovely accommodation with charming hosts”

This was beautiful bed and breakfast accommodation very conveniently situated for Amboise, but with the benefit of being in a slightly rural location and therefore blissfully quiet at night. Our room was spacious with a beautiful bathroom, and the bed was very comfortable. I particularly appreciated the pure linen bed linen and the quality towels. The air conditioning was welcome as it was extremely hot, and it was very nice to have access to a kitchen facility, although we didn’t use it. Cedric and Ombeline are charming and courteous hosts who put a lot of effort into ensuring that their guests enjoy their stay. It was lovely to chat to them and they were very helpful with information about parking and restaurants in Amboise and suggestions for other visits in the area. Breakfast was slightly different every morning, with the option of a cooked breakfast available. Everything was fresh, with home made jams and yoghurt, and the bread was the best that we ate anywhere on our trip. We loved our stay here and would be very happy to return if we visit the area in the future.
