It is ideally located within walking distance of Amboise old town, chateau and Clos Luce. It’s great to look over the road to the Loire River. We enjoyed the beautifully decorated apartment.

Superb location only 6 minutes' walk from the middle of town, with easy on-street parking outside and agreeable riverside outlook. One-bedroom ground floor apartment, renovated in 2020 and in excellent condition, with very wide doors that would easily allow wheelchair access. Excellent, prompt communication from the rental management/servicing company (InBed) with clear explanations of everything, including simple self-checkin using lockbox to get keys. Everything in very clean condition, reasonably comfortable bedding. Some basic groceries and cleaning materials provided (or left by previous guests??). Great thermostatically-controlled shower with ample hot water. Property is next to a road but there was no problem with noise, as the road isn't busy and the modern windows give good sound insulation.

Perfect stay for two people. Location is 10 min walk along the Loire to the old city centre and Amboise castle. Free parking in the street (no allocated spots but we always found a place close to the apt to park), there is no AC but the apt is rather cool due to orientation and proximity to the river. Self check-in and check-out.
