Great location. Parking was very easy which was a big bonus [ often difficult in French medieval towns].

Beautiful manor house in the center of Amboise, with lovely gardens. We were given a very warm welcome by Gregoire who had plenty of time for us.

Beautiful hotel, attentive staff, clean, love fireplace in the lounge with plenty of board games. Works for us every time, will be back soon!

Beautiful old chateau building. Wonderfully presented. Really friendly staff who were very welcoming and helpful. We stayed with our dog and they were very accommodating. Great breakfast.

The location in a peaceful, cloistered setting very close to the town centre was excellent. Traditional French charm, character and flair in the architecture, styling and very friendly and professional staff. The restaurant was outstanding with refined cooking, flavours and presentation and the team made me feel relaxed and very welcome. The room was spacious, very comfortable and had a lovely view over the gardens. The parking within the hotel grounds was a real bonus in the centre of Amboise. French hospitality at its finest.

Fantastic dog friendly hotel set in lovely grounds with a perfect location to explore Amboise. We had an annex room with our door opening out onto the garden. The room had everything we needed including a spacious bathroom. The staff were very friendly too.

Lovely hotel with a very kind and helpful staff (arranged taxis for us before we arrived and when leaving, scrambled to get a mobile phone we'd left behind to us at the train station before our train left).

This hotel is an amazing stay if you wish to enjoy the perks of Amboise and beauty of the Loire Valley without living the city. It's central location make it an amazing stay for anyone going to the city without a car. The staff is super gentle and the breakfast was amazing!

Couldn’t accommodate us for an evening meal after driving 400 miles! Said we should have made a reservation, but Booking.com doesn’t have this as an option!

Where to start? Far from the sleek, sanitised hotels of today, this hotel pays tribute to the history and culture of its region. However this in no way implied any divergence from a hotel's priorities...hospitality, polite/helpful/friendly staff, first class accommodation and superb cuisine. This hotel had it all, it oozed class, comfort and a central location to explore this beautiful town. I cannot praise it highly enough and visitors to the area should book a room while they can. An absolute gem that we will return to.
