“Lovely stay for families”

Lovely 3 night stay with hubbie and young adult daughter. Accommodation very clean. Communication before we arrived very clear. Location is great. Boulangerie about 20 metres to the right as you leave the property with a charcuterie next door to it. We tried both and they were good. There is an Aldi about 300m to the left as you leave and a Carrefour over the bridges and to the right. Whilst not in Amboise old town, the walk across the bridges into Amboise is lovely. Free car parking in the street. Washing machine but no dryer. Enough cooking facilities to cook a simple meal. Great option for families.

We loved our stay in this apartment. It was comfortable and well furnished. The hosts were helpful and welcoming. The location was excellent - a short stroll across the bridge into town! The toy box was also a huge hit thank you!

The house was so pleasantly furnished and so well equipped. The attention to detail was superb. Basic cooking and cleaning products were provided, with even a hand towel conveniently located beside the kitchen sink! The location was great - close to Amboise Station, a wonderful Boulangerie and Aldi supermarket. As international travellers relying on public transport we found the local bus into Amboise very useful in hot weather, but the short walk over the bridge was delightful at other times. Aurelie's responsiveness to our questions before our arrival and her kindness in allowing us to enter the property as early as possible were really helpful in making our stay more enjoyable. Thank you.

The house was really clean, comfortable, and well equipped. The location was perfect , less than ten minutes walk into the town and also well situated for exploring the surrounding area.

Fantastic location, close to the centre of Amboise. A nice walk across the bridge to the centre of town. The house is spacious for a small group of people and the outside space was a bonus.

We loved the homeliness of the property. Everything you could think of was catered for. If we could give the property more than a 10 we would. The bed was comfortable, bathroom spacious, kitchen well equipped and we had an indoor and outdoor dining area. It was an easy walk into town and the Saturday market was fabulous. If you miss the market don’t worry as you have everything you needed just down the road - fabulous patisserie and bakery and even an ALDI. We felt really safe with the police station just around the corner. Parking was not at the property but we were able to drop off and pick up our luggage without any difficulty and park nearby.

House was well decorated. It was a good location to walk out for sunrise and sunset. It was well stocked and we were able to cook a meal and have it outside the patio.

Great apartment in a good location. Excellent coordination from the hosts before arrival and during the stay, as well as a nice welcome gift! A short 5 min walk across the river to the Chateau.

Location. Facilities were everything we needed as 2 couples travelling.

Only 3 minutes walk from the station and 10 minutes pleasant walk to the town centre. Very well equipped kitchen. Comfortable sofas in the lounge area. Indoor dining area plus outdoor dining table and chairs in the private courtyard. Friendly and helpful owner.

The location was superb & gave great access to Amboise & the Loire valley. The apartment was comfortable with most of the facilities required for a pleasant stay. The hosts were really communicative & left lovely welcoming gifts which were much appreciated.

A really comfortable property with considerate kind hosts. There was a welcome basket with some lovely treats . The property was clean comfortable and warm. The ambiance was lovely , after a particularly stressful year in business we really welcomed this "cocoon of comfort" . Everything that was necessary for a comfortable stay was there. Our wonderful hosts even put up Christmas decorations and a Christmas tree - so we did not miss our tree at home. The property was a short distance from Amboise easily accessible by a short work or a few minutes by car. So no problem. Fantastic boulangerie a few yards away.
