This is a beautiful place with such great character. Lots to explore around the Chateau and in the general area. Such a peaceful place too. The staff were great and made us really feel at home. Breakfasts were excellent. We would have loved to have stayed longer. I told the owner that it was not like other hotels because it wasn't perfect to the point that it felt artificial...it was just right!

The chateau was set in stunning grounds and had an easy relaxed feel as soon as you walked in. Wonderful pool. The owner could not have been more helpful. All the staff are extremely helpful .

The property was in a stunning location, and although still a working progress in some places it has been tastefully and respectfully refurbished to a high standard. The long walks through the meadows and behind the house were a highlight, as were the caves, an the pool will only add further beauty when it opens.

Beautiful place with very comfortable rooms and tasteful decor. The châtelain Olivier is very warm and helpful.

Most interesting ancient quarry with a chateau front . Host engaging and gave an explanation of the boutique hotel’s development . Room and breakfast excellent but shame no restaurant as Amboise a distance away

Very warm welcome by owner. Property is clean, well-maintained, with a luxurious but cozy feeling about it. Breakfast was delicious, beautifully presented, with locally sourced products. The staff were very kind and accommodating. My room was spacious and clean with a lovely view of the gardens. The bed was very comfortable. 10/10 recommend.

Extremely nice and helpful people , very welcoming. Very nice and peaceful location, ideal to enjoy a long weekend in the nature and appreciate calmness and a nice walk in the forest. Very close to Amboise center and supermarkets, cafes etc. Highly recommended!

“Overall, this is a lovely and unique place to stay, and we would be happy to return.”

We had a truly memorable stay at Château de Perreux. The hotel was even better than we expected. When we arrived, the road was closed because of heavy rain, and a staff member kindly drove out to pick us up and even took us to a nearby town for dinner. We were very touched by this level of care and hospitality. The château itself has centuries of history, but the rooms and facilities are very comfortable, clean, and well maintained. It feels elegant and full of character, yet not old or musty at all. What we enjoyed most was the beautiful natural setting around the property. It was such a special experience to fall asleep under a sky full of stars and wake up to birds singing in the forest. Peaceful and beautiful.

The property is magnificent. Olivier has done an amazing work in restoring this Chateau. He went out of his way to be accommodating. He took care of dinner reservations each evening; advice regarding things to do in the area. Great assistance and knowledge.

The château is absolutely stunning, set in the middle of nature and offering a true sense of peace and escape. The host was incredibly kind, welcoming and attentive, always ready to help and share useful information. The housekeeping staff was also very warm and thoughtful, and the small gesture of offering us two jars of honey was truly touching. Everything felt personal, elegant and perfectly taken care of, making our stay feel very special.

We absolutely loved our stay. The room was lovely, breakfast was superb, the grounds were peaceful and beautiful, and the whole experience was perfect !

Not your normal hotel experience - this place is rather special ! Extensive semi wild gardens with walking options. We were upgraded to a suite big enough for a dance ! The host ( Pierre? ) was exeptionally helpful, booked dinner for us in town both nights.
