Great location - Ambleteuse is a lovely village with a great beach and dunes for walking and cycling and there are several restaurants close to La marine D’opale. The rooms are clean and well equipped with everything you could need for a stay.

They charge you for everything, sheets? 29 euros, jacuzzi? 27 euros per person, no toilet paper and you are anot allowed to use the fireplace... pictures does not match the reality.. be aware

“Beware of extra charges (linen/towels and cleaning)”
Accomodation could be nice if guests are not welcomed by number of rules and tasks they are required to do or they will be charged extra fees. Off street parking was very convenient. It was quite clean, heating and hot water were good. We got a free upgrade and got a whole villa with garden to ourselves.

“Overnight stay close to the ferry”
Lovely top floor apartment, very well equipped, comfortable and clean. The host was very friendly and helpful. We loved the balcony. Very close to some really nice restaurants and bars, and a 10 minute downhill stroll to the sea. Very good for an overnight stay before catching an early ferry from Calais - it’s an easy 25-30 minute drive to the port. There is a small Carrefour Contact supermarket very close by - ideal for provisions if you don’t plan to eat out. That said, the food we saw being served in the restaurants looked exceptional and was good value. We will definitely stay here again.

“Good location, disappointing facilities. Won't be going back.”
The location in the small town of Ambleteuse is excellent. It's not far to the beach, you can walk there in 10 minutes. There are several restaurants in town within walking distance. You can walk along the coast to Ausserelles in about 45 minutes, where there are lots of restaurants / cafés, and it's a beautiful coastal walk.
