Excellent location, excellent room, plenty of parking spaces (free for hotel guests), friendly and helpful staff, help yourself hot breakfast and the food was hot unlike a lot of places.

Lovely Location. Clean Room and spacious. Large bar area and lots of seating. Nice decor. Friendly staff. Spacious outside with plenty seating right next to the lake. Wonderful lake view. Close proximity to take a cruise to Bowness as well as other places. We gave our car registration when checking in and make sure to do that so you don't recieve a fine. Simple check in and check out. Would stay again. Breakfast was nice buffet style and enjoyable. Although would of loved to see coffee machine for lattes and flat whites ect. Other options. Good stay was happy with it.

The staff were attentive and made you feel very welcome. You could not get a better position, right on the edge of the lake and near to the cruise trip boarding landings.

“Our new go-to place to stay!”

Our stay at the Wateredge Inn was fabulous! Despite the rainy weather, the staff were incredibly lovely and were so accommodating. We stayed in Skelgyll (I don't know if I spelled that correctly) for 2 nights, and it was an amazing experiece for relaxing. The room was very clean. It featured a large bed, a sitting area with coffee table and a telly, a dresser and a chair, a closet space with ironing board, a coffee station, hair dryer, an en suite with a large shower, as well as a balcony area with a lovely view of the lake. The bed and pillows were comfortable, and we had an incredible, chilled stay. The room I've booked included breakfast, and it was served daily in the restaurant area. It was a continental breakfast selection with the usual pastries, cereals, and hot food - alongside a variety of breakfast juices, tea and coffee. If you didn't fancy the selection, there was also an option to order breakfast staples that came with the menu cards. Parking was free, provided you registered your car in reception on arrival. The parking area can possibly accommodate about 50 cars (give or take). Also worth noting is, if you opted to not have your room cleaned in the morning, you can note this on a link (given to you on a card on check in) the night before, and you can claim a free drink at the bar in exchange! How amazing is that!? 😊

“Lakeside heaven”

Very helpful staff who provided us with a room close to the area we requested when booking in without a problem. The property is situated beside Lake Windermere by the Ambleside pier with a spacious garden. Bar type food service, open most of the day. Breakfast buffet laid out with self service, plentiful choice, the staff kept tables clear of used plates and cutlery. We would certainly stay here again.
