“I really enjoyed my stay at the Inn”
It is a great location, I had a really comfortable stay, nice food. Room quite basic but clean, dinner was lovely and I enjoyed the choice at breakfast. Would stay again

Staff were very helpful, especially with our bikes and arranged accommodation in the cottage at the back of the property which made coming and going easier for us. Part of a cycling tour and would happily use again. Very handy for walking into town.

We didn't get to stay here. Our stay was cancelled due to power cut we was just given our luggage as we had left it earlier and was told sorry you will have to find elsewhere

“An ideal place to stay in Ambleside”
We felt fully welcomed at the Temperance Inn, and it is perfectly located in Ambleside as the base for walks. The breakfast in the morning was delicious, and even the biscuits kept in the room were better than other hotels we've stayed in.
