“10/10 - Nicest B&B we have ever stayed at !!!”
Steve and Caz were lovely hosts as was Katie who served us a fantastic breakfast. This accommodation is absolutely stunning, the owners have thought of everything. The room was spotless as is everywhere. I’d even go so far as to say this is the best B&B we have ever stayed at - 10/10.

“It was a lovely”
Our bed was comfy. Breakfast was tailored made for us and delicious. Our hosts were lovely and very helpful. They advised us to book somewhere to eat and told us the best restaurants, which we did. Doi Intent (Thai) was exceptional. It was great to have a designated parking place which was just a 2 minute walk from the B&B and secure. Thank you Steve and Caz for making our stay enjoyable.

The location withnearby parking was ideal for a two night stopover in the Lake District. The breakfasts had a lot of choice and were excellently cooked. The hosts were very friendly and helpful. They warned us to book our evenings meals and gave a good list of nice places It was all very well organised.

Lovely 2 night stay. B&B was lovely & spotless and was perfect spot into town. Bedroom was gorgeous and the comfiest bed and pillows. Nothing was too trouble. Check in was easy, Steve was very welcoming and everything explained. Breakfast was exceptional. We will be back.

Hillsdale is in the perfect spot in the town. Steve the owner was very welcoming and gave us lots of information about Ambleside. The B&B is lovely and beautifully decorated. Breakfast was amazing and we would definitely book again.
