With a picturesque location in Ambleside, Ambleside Salutation Hotel & Spa World Hotel Distinctive, BW Premier Collection features a modern spa and a brasserie. The location is perfect for exploring Ambleside and the surrounding areas. The staff are very friendly and it is nice to have breakfast served to you rather than buffet style. The hotel also offers free parking which is a useful addition especially in the Lake District where parking is at a premium.

Gorgeous ambience. Bed was really comfy. Shower pressure was amazing. Spa bath brilliant after a huge day exploring the district. Excellent Breakfast selection.

“Peaceful and relaxing stay in the heart of Lake District”
First of all, the location is excellent. The hotel is based in a beautifully picturesque town with distant views of the Lake District mountains right at the doorstep. The room was clean and cozy with some nice extras such as a mini-fridge and a bath tub with jacuzzi. Breakfast and access to spa was included. For breakfast, there's a wide variety of choices such as cereals, muffins, porridge, full English, eggs Benedict etc. along with both hot and cold drinks. The food was of high quality and delicious. We accessed the spa early in the morning and it was fairly quiet. It has a decent sized indoor pool and hot tub along with a sauna and steam room. There is also an outside pool/hot tub with water jets which we particularly loved and found relaxing. The staff were very warm and hospitable. There is parking available at the front, however, it gets full very quickly, but there is more space right at the back. It is really worth having a stroll through the town with its quirky shops and independent businesses as well. Would 100% stay again.

“A great hotel but exploiting price creep”
It's a brilliant, quiet hotel with a great spa and we loved the hot tub on our balcony. The room was clean, spacious and comfortable. The staff is really friendly and helpful. The breakfast is good with a wide range of choices (continental, cooked, etc). There are lots of places to sit and have a drink too and it's in a great location for exploring Ambleside and going on walks. There's ample parking and it allows dogs too which is the cherry on top.

“2 night break”
Great location, fantastic outdoor spa and indoor swimming pool. Steam room ,sauna really good. Friendly staff, lots of fresh food choice at breakfast. Clean room , lovely en suite lots of pressure on shower.
