Amazing breakfast!! The specials every morning included vegan option and was amazing! The staff were lovely and super patient, even with the most annoying of the customers.

“A lovely place though my visit had issues.”
A beautiful house and garden in a fine location. Really enjoyed the breakfast except the veggie sausages which felt a bit like eating cardboard (I'm a meat eater - if veggie sausages are this bad why bother?).

Jason and the staff were welcoming,helpfull and attentive. Breakfasts were very nice,house was full of original features and had character and welcoming feel unlike so many others. We felt relaxed during the stay

What a beautifully grand house! Perfectly situated close to Ambleside town centre, with parking (big bonus). Gorgeous rooms, super clean and modern en-suite bathroom, big comfy bed and luxurious towels- what’s not to like?!! Great view from the window (see below) and the sound of birds- a beautiful way to wake up. Breakfast was delicious too- good choice and quality. All staff were incredibly welcoming and smiley. WiFi was great- able to download what I needed.

“Veggie friendly setting so close to town, premium price not quite premium experience”
Location was really fantastic for town and easy to find, pleasantly kept styled and view from room was spectacular as sun rose and thankfully quiet from road noise during busy days -room warm and clean

“Wonderful place will be back”
Perfect for what I wanted, felt homely and secluded but the town and the fells were on the doorstep. Hosts brilliant lovely and friendly, happy to answer any questions and top notch recommendations! Breakfast was amazing - full English vegetarian delish. I’d also recommend their porridge - sorted me right out for a run that morning! The b&b was lovely and quiet and felt really relaxed and safe in my stay.
