Rod was a very accommodating and kind host. The rooms were clean and comfortable. The breakfast was delicious, timely, and the ordering system was great. The location was also great, being right around the corner from the high streets and main bus stop.

We had a lovely stay, Rod was lovely and extremely accommodating. The room was comfortable and had everything we needed. The location is ideal for amazing hikes on your door step and Ambleside is a great town with plenty of good places to eat!

“A warm welcome in perfectly located B&B in Ambleside”
Rod’s wife was away due to an illness in the family so he was clearly under pressure trying to look after us on his own. He did an amazing job - a really lovely man who made us feel very welcome. The room was immaculately clean and the location of the B& B was perfect. The parking permit was a great bonus
