Was clean, and in a perfect location

Wonderful to have the patio overlooking harbour and estuary. Near lots of facilities and not far to drive for sightseeing. Great welcoming goodies.

A comfortable, clean house right on the harbourside. On street parking but always managed to park right outside the house. Perfect for a week away in lovely Amble.

Mainly the location which was excellent It was very clean and had everything we needed. The clotted cream scones, cake & dog biscuit were much appreciated too

The view is only visible from the stairs in the house. The stairs up to decking platform,where the view really is, are steep. Think it would be kind to point this out for people with limits to their mobility like me.

The location is superb - you can watch the fishing boats come in at the harbour and lots of lovely parts of Northumberland are accessible from the lovely town Amble. The facilities provided everything we needed for our stay. The fresh baked goods we were welcomed with were a lovely touch.

We have stayed in Amble around 4 times now and this was the best value for money. Amazing location, so much room, immaculate and smelt lovely. Homemade baked goods on arrival and the host was really helpful. Would definately come back again, myself and my children loved it.

On The Harbour was a coat, comfortable cottage, ideally situated for exploring Amble and the beautiful Northumberland coast. It was well equipped and very welcoming, with some nice extra touches for dog owners and visitors in general. Ideally placed overlooking the quayside, it was easy to walk into the town centre or enjoy the surrounding craft shops and places to eat.

Property was absolutely enchanting - brilliant location by the harbour, just a short walk into town centre but nice and quiet. Super comfortable and everything you could wish for in range of facilities. Communication with Jen, the owner, was excellent -she was soooo helpful and friendly, and left us some hugely appreciated welcome gifts - thank you so much Jen! Would love to stay here again - it's my idea of a perfect holiday.
