We absolutely loved our stay! The welcome pack on arrival was such a lovely touch. The cottage is perfectly located — within easy walking distance of everything in the lovely town, and an ideal base for exploring Northumberland. The cottage is very clean and comfortable, and we were notified when the cottage was ready for an earlier check in. Elaine provided exceptional service throughout our stay; when we had a query about a kitchen appliance, she responded within just two minutes. We would highly recommend staying here and would definitely return ourselves! ☺️

Very generous welcome gifts which supported locally businesses which we really appreciated. Also good quality info on local businesses, walks, attractions. Host was very helpful and friendly. Bright cheerful accommodation, with everything you could need in the kitchen. And absolutely great location - close to harbour and just a few minutes walk to the high street shops. Walk to lovely Warkworth and its interesting atmospheric castle was easy along the river bank and took just under half an hour. Highly recommend taking the boat trip to Coquet Island to see the Puffins, Guillemots, seals and in our case a pod of dolphins! Location was close to the main coast road.

Fantastic cottage with all you could need and more. Elaine has equipped the cottage with quality appliances. Great location, warm and comfortable. Everything was very clean and fresh.

Elaine provided milk, biscuits, crisps, water, wine and doggy treats which was lovely. The location is 10/10 it is a 2 minute walk to the harbour and 5 minute walk to the high street. We totally enjoyed the cod from the local fish and chip shop. Everything about Elaines house was 10/10. The only little thing was my 11 month cockapoo didnt know how to climb stairs as we live in a bungalow, so we had to carry her up and down 🤣🤦🏼‍♀️ I would certainly stay here again and definitely recommend Elaines cottage to friends. House is beautiful, modern and so spacious with everything you could ask for. Very nicely modernised and furnished. Very quiet area and a stones throw from the harbour and a lovely pub, the Harbour Inn. Welcome pack was amazing, for both humans and dogs !! Parking on road outside of property and we didnt have any issues getting parked at the house. Thought of everything and hosts first class. Great base to explore the beautiful areas of Northumberland.

Just had a great week at this amazing cottage. It was spacious, well decorated and furnished throughout, spotlessly clean and provided us with everything we could possibly need. Fantastic welcome packs for both us and our dog. Situated on a quiet street very close to the harbour alongside grassland which is handy for dogs. Plenty of parking just outside. Perfect base for exploring Northumberland coastline. Would definitely return and fully recommend.
