“Brilliant location, exceptional facilities - We will be back”

The location was brilliant , there was a lovely welcome pack for us and our dog Reggie. They had thought of everything. It felt like our own home, which is what you want when you are away. Lots to do in the area. Will certainly book again.

Such a lovely property, in good condition, very clean and comfortable and perfectly located. There were lots of utensils in the kitchen so we could cook and bake, the garden is a sun trap to entertain friends but the living room and kitchen ideal for when the weather isn't so good. Everything in Amble was close by and gentle strolls along the harbouring were on your doorstep. When we couldn't find the switch for the hob fan the owners responded immediately so if anything more serious had occurred we would be confident it would be dealt with quickly. The sofas and beds were comfortable and allowed us to rest and relax so we felt all the benefits of our wonderful break.Theres a real pride in their property and it shows. We wouldn't hesitate to recommend Dexters to friends and family. Those friends that visited us whilst we were there we very impressed too.

“Fabulous stay in Amble.”

We liked everything. Beautiful cottage, so well stocked and with good quality goods (such as SMEG). There was a log fire, but we only used it once, as the cottage was so lovely and warm. Beds were super comfortable with lovely linen. Bathrooms were lovely, with lots of room (great to have a bath too on cold days - we were there in November). Location fantastic. Great little pods close by selling things from earrings to pies!! Near to places such as Alwick and the Druridge Country Park is well worth a visit. We need to visit again, as we did not get to see everything. Welcome pack a lovely touch. Host was great - always in touch and checked that all was ok during our stay.

Beautiful house. Decorated and fitted out to a high specification. Lovely and clean . Plenty of information left as well as a human and a doggy welcome pack. Short walk to plenty bars and restaurants and a lovely harbour .

Everything - the property is simply stunning. Communication before and during the stay was excellent. I honestly doubt you will find anything better in the area.

An exceptional property in a great location. Dexter’s Den was modern, well equipped, clean and very comfortable. It totally exceeded our high expectations. It was easy parking on the road outside and all the attractions of Amble were on the doorstep.

House was immaculate everything in that you need ,cooking equipment, kitchen towels ,toilet rolls ,bath and hand towels and lovely shampoo/ shower gels ,even doggy towels and dog bowls .plus lovely little extras like wine ,biscuits and treats for the dog
