The accommodation is in a separate house with upstairs and downstairs rooms. It might be described as shabby chic. 20 years of rain and tropical weather has begun to take its toll and mosquitos are sometimes an issue but it's really lovely to have your own floor and views to lagoon and in garden are lovely Breakfast with the family was good and it was incredible value for money The host helped arrange a boat trip. All in all a good stay

“Fantastic”
spacious and comfortable apartment with a large terrace and lake views. And two minutes walk from the beach. The owner is very friendly and helps you with whatever you need. Fantastic place to spend a few days of peace and relaxation!

2nd time staying here now as found it available and so had to stay again.owner more than helpfull and even arranged a visit to sigiriya for a day excursion.was an absolutely amazing host and is very knowledgeable. Highly recommend a stay here even if passing just through👍👍

Good located apartment with kitchen and big terrace. Tasty breakfast every morning, close to the centre. I can highly recommend this stay and Ambalangoda as a location less touristy with everything you need.
