Overview
This farm in the Amares region of Northern Portugal features gardens with an outdoor pool. Antique furniture and stone walls decorate the living spaces of this rural house in Amares. Dark wooden furniture and wooden floors are present in all rooms at Quinta Do Burgo. Each room has a TV and a balcony with views of the gardens and surrounding countryside. Homemade preserves are served for breakfast in the gardens of Do Burgo, overlooking the pool area. For dinner, guests can head out to Braga, 10 km away or Barcelos, 24 km away. The gardens of the Quinta are a sunny spot to enjoy the peaceful sound of the Cávado River. Gerês National Park is situated 20 km away and free private parking is available on site.

The staff were all so friendly and welcoming. The breakfast was lovely with lots of option. The hotel is in the most stunning location with incredible view. I was in the area for a wedding but wish I’d had a few more days to enjoy the hotel and surrounding area. I’d love to visit again
