“Fantastic staff and comfortable rooms”

The staff are incredibly nice, the rooms were comfortable, the breakfast was good, the tour of the winery was nice and the pool was lovely.

Absolutely amazing stay at Casa Lata, Margarida and Sara were super hosts, lovely building with a great swimming pool. The wine tasting was spectacular with great food!

A calm, beautiful quaint stay here at Casa Lata. The staff were all so polite and helpful and I loved how intimate it is and not a busy hotel with lots of people, you can really detach and just unwind. Lovely room and bathroom/shower, great space and wardrobes and amenities. Lovely little breakfast, didn't have any other food there. I would just say it is remote as described so you would need to rely on taxi/bolt to get around.

We really enjoyed everything. It is recommended to add vegetables to breakfast.

Margarida is a great host: her English is excellent and her warm welcome made the difference. She gave us a tour of the winery and a tasting of their wines that we really liked. Our room was very beautiful, big and immaculate. Shower was large and quite enjoyable,.. Breakfast was excellent, with a wide variety of fresh products, including eggs from their own hens. The homemade carrot muffins were delicious and the lady serving the breakfast was just too nice. Thank you Casa Lata!

“Good spot”

Outstanding. The hospitality and welcoming service was just out of this world. This family goes miles to serve their guests and the tapas and wine tasting is a must. We've been refilled many times and the tapas for 2 can feed 6 adults for dinner if you want. Beautiful 😍 The wine itself is great

“Great find with great facilities”

Great facilities with a pool and multiple places to sit. Staff were really friendly and the place very clean. We also did the wine tasting which was available onsite and came with some local cheeses and home made bread.

“A wonderful vineyard stay”

We had the most wonderful stay at Casa Lata. The team were incredibly welcoming and helpful. The building and grounds were lovely and we enjoyed hearing about their history as part of the tour we did. The room was clean and comfortable and it was absolutely delightful to relax around the pool with a class of the vineyard’s wine. Whilst the property doesn’t offer a regular dinner/restaurant service, you can book to do tapas and wine tasting during your stay - this was delicious and excellent value, we would highly recommend as it was a real highlight of the trip for us! The team also assisted us with recommendations for restaurants locally for dinner on the other nights, and helped with booking.

Almost Everything. It was a short trip but very harmonious thanks to Casa Lata, the kindness and very helpfull people, the beautifull country...We felt like home...you will enjoy the breakfast and in general the gastronomy of Portugal!

“Family run gem!”

This family run guest house and winery is the perfect place to sit back and put your feet up for a few days. The rooms are so special and the public areas are a feast for the eyes. There is so much love and care in every corner. This goes for the breakfast as well. All homemade! We truly enjoyed meeting the family and best of all sampling the wines they are producing. Here again, made with love and passion. One is made to feel part of the family. We could truly just move in.
