It was a lovely renovation of an old town house in the old city. It was thoughtfully done and nicely quirky! It was central to everything Amarante has to offer. We liked the information pamphlet that was given to us which proved useful.

We loved our stay. The included breakfast was great! It was across the road at their restaurant where they served beautiful pastries and coffee, where you can sit on the balcony overlooking the river. The location was amazing, on the street with all of the restaurants and wine bars. We had a great time! Staff were very friendly and accommodating. What we would note is that there are a lot of stairs with no option of an elevator. It wasn't a problem for us, but important to know when booking as this may affect others.

Nice apartment right in the heart of Amarante in the best street in town. Very helpful staff with lots of information on arrival, comfortable apartment and a great place to stay.

“Family run, small hotel , beautifully arranged central room.”
Full information received beforehand about arrival. Met by family, given a hotel produced news letter, and map, 7 pages of info on sites, history, suggestions Inc restaurants. Room with balcony, beautiful use of space and angles, lovely decor. A fabulous spacious room. Breakfast included at bakery opposite on river terrace.
