“A stay in the old city by the River”

Property is located right in the centre, a few steps away from the cathedral, bridge and river side. The property has a nice design and was very well kept and clean. They also have a nice coffee shop at street level, where a good breakfast is served. This part of Amarante is beautiful and romantic and is worth a few days visit if you are in the Douro region. Porto Airport is some 40 minutes away.

A place of perfection. Little room very well equipped and designed with a river view. Every detail is made with love. The bed is comfortable. The staff is very friendly, great people tasty boutique breakfast on a balcony with a view there also is approval which we didn’t use because it was called And a yard and to rest. I was happy.

Superb, great value hotel in excellent location near the river, old bridge and monastery. Large bright room with view of garden and river. Very comfortable beds, lots of storage space, TV, fridge and coffee machine. Air con too. Large clean bathroom with excellent shower. Staff very friendly and welcoming. Superb breakfast from 0800-1030 with big choice of fruits, cereals, cooked items, croissants, pastries etc. Pleasant garden terrace to sit out on in the evening. Lots of free parking by the river down the steps from the street where the hotel is situated. Strong wi-fi. Would definitely stay here again

Central location, view of the river, comfortable room, interior design, friendly and accommodating staff. The breakfasts are good too. You can ask for a barista coffee at no extra cost for breakfast.

This is a delightful property and it had all that I needed -fridge, coffee machine , luxury toiletries and and super cafe for breakfast and afternoon tea and cake. Situated in the heart of the old town it was just perfect. Parking a little bit of a walk down some flights of steps but to the agile not a problem.

We loved this place. Very nice style, very comfortable. It felt like there was no corner-cutting; down to the small things like the quality of the toiletries. The room was a really pleasant place to be, light and beautiful, with a great view over the river. Super-central. Great breakfast. Highly recommended.

“Exceptional River Views in a Central Location”

Upon arrival, my bags were taken straight to my room, which was very convenient. The staff were welcoming and friendly throughout my stay. Breakfast was delicious with plenty of choice, and the central location made exploring easy. The river views from the large terrace were truly exceptional — a perfect spot to relax and enjoy the scenery.

Very comfortable stay. Firm, but comfortable, beds, spotlessly clean and, friendly and helpful staff. Includes a cafe, with balcony overlooking the river. Great value for money (with breakfast included). Would definitely stay again if travelling in the region.
