“Unique and highly recommended!”

Our stay with Adolfo and his family was indescribably beautiful and super authentic! From the room to the beautiful garden overlooking the lake and the fantastic food made with ingredients from their own garden, everything was perfect. The island also offers beautiful opportunities for hiking and relaxation. We stayed for two nights, but could definitely have stayed longer. Despite the language barrier (as we don't speak Spanish), Adolfo and his family were very warm, open and welcoming. It was the best stay in Peru and we can recommend it without reservation!

Our host Adolfo and his family were incredibly welcoming and made us feel right at home from the moment we arrived. The room was beautiful, clean and with a stunning view. One of the real highlights of our stay was Justa’s cooking, which was delicious and made with local organic products.

I had a great stay here, Adolfo and Justa are kind, caring and will go the extra mile. The bedroom was clean, neat and the beds were clean, I had no issues. Duvets and blankets were provided, which meant I had a cozy night, and Adolfo would give me a hot water bottle at night. There is also a hot shower, and toilets were clean. The views from Inca lodge are amazing, from my bedroom window you can see the lake and sunrise. And also there is a balcony which you can sit and relax and watch over the lake. There are lots of local walks, I visited both Pachamama and Pachatata at sunset, both are worth walking up to, with amazing views across the island, lake Titicaca and in the far distance you can see snow capped mountains in Bolivia - after sunset it gets very cold and also you need a torch after sunset. Adolfo guided us to Pachatata. I also walked down to the lake and did a coastal walk too. I used the All trails app, which has paths mapped out on this island, it also meant I didn’t get lost! This was a great stay, Adolfo and Justa were great and forthcoming at all times. The home made authentic food was definitely a highlight for me, the food was sourced locally and from their farm. I felt welcomed by the family and also their relatives that would sometimes come in the evening for a chat. If you are coming here, you would most likely need a motorbike ride from the port, there were riders at the port which you can hire.

We felt very welcome and enjoyed a peaceful sleep in one of the purest places on earth. Adolfo and Justa are great hosts with warm hearts. The rooms are clean, comfortable, and the food comes straight from the ground at Inca Lodge. Justa prepares a hearty and beautifully presented meal. Thank you Adolfo and Justa!

The view from the hostel is fantastic! The host are so nice to provide everything you need under limited resources. Wifi available.

The accommodation is located in the community on the opposite side respect where the boat from Puno arrives. That's permitted to be the only tourist in this side of the island during our stay. You have to consider 20 soles per person to reach the accommodation from the pier with a motorbike. Otherwise you need at least 1 hour and 30 minute of walk. The host family is amazing, Justa prepared delicious meals and joined us for a while for the walking up to pacha mama on the top of the island. Amantanì is magic, it is a rural island surrounded by the lake. Stunning scenario where to relax and take great pictures. The night sky from the house is unforgettable.

The hosts were friendly and provided a good home feeling to all guests. The food was also some of the best I had while traveling in puno (it was very healthy and delicious). Lastly, they went out of their way and helped me when I had lost something... overall, very happy to have stayed here!

Staying with Justa and Adolfo is one of the highlights of our trip to Peru. Contact with a family cannot be more interesting!

“Worthwhile!”

I loved the experience of staying at Adolfo and Justa's place on a beautiful, tranquil island of Amantani. The host was friendly and nice and the house is clean and comfortable. The sunrise view over the lake from the room was breathtaking and Justa's cooking was delicious. I was also the first Thai guest here. It's about time there should be second and third and so on?

“Great stay at Adolfo and his family”

Adolfo and Justa are the best hosts you could wish for. Adolfo showed us around the island and went out of his way to arrange our transport for the next day. Justa’s cooking is simply great. Both are very friendly. And their shower is hot!

I stayed here alone on an individual trip and the family (Justa, Adolfo and their daughter) were incredibly welcoming and kind, cooking me food three times a day (real tasty soups!), walking with me to show me the paths around the island (Adolfo even walked with me a 40min walk to the harbour on the other side of the island) and being very patient with my poor Spanish as well. The room is clean and comfy and the best feature is that it has a window looking east over the lake through which I witnessed two incredible sunrises.

“Peaceful and authentic stay”

It has been a great and quiet stay in Amantani at Inca Lodge. The family welcomed us very kindly. Eating local food, they showed us the way to Pachamana and Pachatata. We shared stories on Amantani's life and European life. The room is spacious with an outstanding view. You have plenty of blankets, you won't feel cold.

We could not have asked for a better accommodation in Amantani: the room and bathroom were very clean, excellent food and Alfonso and his wonderful family made us feel at home. Highly recommended!

Very nice place Adolpho and Justa aŕe fantastic, location excellent with àn incredible view on lake and Bolivia. Rooms are simple but nice Food was great too, they prepare us à lunch to bring to Taquile that was great too. Alphonso showned us the sky by night, great expérience It was a very true expérience and sharing. Highly recommended This community is still apart from great operator tour and this is great.

“Incredible experience”

This was such a unique experience of a rustic and homely nature. Adolfo and Justa were very welcoming and affible. Adolfo even guided us through his island! Considering we speak very limited Spanish, both were very accommodating of this and patient with us, we were able to have some good conversation! Beautiful views both from the lodge and the island.
