“The Old Stables is a little retreat”

8 of us spent 3 nights at The Old Stables, which is an awesome property. It's like a tardus. We kept losing our bearings. Fantastic accommodation. Everything we needed was there...and more. Big fluffy towels, lovely toiletries. Huge big ensuite bedrooms. Even a bottle fridge. The juaccuzi is fantastic and has a tv. Sauna was spacious and was hot very quickly. We had an issue with surround sound in the amazing cinema room. The host was brilliant helping us to try to resolve it. This is a fantastic property with everything you could wish for. Garden with swings and slides. Kids cozy corner. Fire pit seating area, jacuzzi etc. We felt like we were on a retreat. Spotlessly clean and fantastic communication. Just 5 miles from Blairgowrie, which is great to smooch around. 💯 recommend this property and the hosts. Thank you so much

A fabulous place in the cutest little village The cinema room was incredible. The hot tub, fire pit and outdoor space was amazing. Comfy beds, plenty space, lovely seating areas, the best kids corner, so many bathrooms and lots of lovely soaps too, couldn't have asked for more!

We had a brilliant stay. It met and surpassed our requirements. Bedroom downstairs for my elderly mother. Lots of extras available for our grandchild...we only requested a high chair, there was cot, extra seat, lots of toys and safe play area. The family all loved hot tub and cinema room. Enclosed garden for family dog. My grandson had his first shot on a swing in your garden play area. EXCELLENT .... highly recomend.

“Magnificent house for hosting a large extended family”

Everything! And we used just about every element possible. We made a huge log-fired BBQ outside and it was -3 degrees! House was lovely and cosy. Bedrooms and bathrooms were super. Cinema room was a real highlight when we watched Top Gun with the Bose sound system on rather loud! Ample space for food and drink storage.

A beautiful, spacious, very well equipped house. It had everything we needed and more. 2 bedrooms down the stairs which was excellent. Lovely quiet town it is situated in. We really enjoyed our stay, and would love to return in the summer to enjoy the gardens.

The cinema room was a lovely addition alongside the big gardens and hot tub. It was lovely having such a large dining table to fit the whole family round too. The kids play area with toys was also a bonus. We liked the decor too.

Very spacious, 7 adults and 3 children and didn’t feel you were under each other’s feet. Super clean and a well stocked kitchen with utensils etc. The beds were very comfortable with nice white cotton sheets. The garden was amazing, very large and private. We actually hired a bouncy castle for the weekend for our grandchildren and there was loads of room. All in all it is a great house for entertaining.

We LOVED our stay here. The space in the house was perfect for what we needed, and we didn't feel like we were living on top of each other. The cinema room was a real highlight: a gorgeous space with a huge screen and fab sound system. The dining room and table were perfect, a large space with plenty of space to share meals, looking out onto the gorgeous back garden. We also made the most of the hot tub and sauna... Again, really well kitted out! Not only was the house wonderful, but it is in such a good location to explore the surrounding areas, and everyone we met on Alyth was friendly and welcoming. We would love to come back! Finally, communication with the hosts was second to none. Any questions we had before arrival were answered helpfully and instructions for using everything in the house were really clear. Five star hosts!

There were seven of us staying at the Old Stables and we all had a wonderful stay. The house itself is spotless, well maintained and well equipped. The cinema room is WOW. Hazel the host was great, good communication throughout the booking process and very accommodating when asked if we could check in early. The house is in a nice quiet location with a few minutes walk to the local shops, pub and restaurant. We would highly recommend and can’t wait to return.

We had an amazing stay at the Old Stables !We came as group of friends from Spain and Bulgaria, and we could not have asked for a better place .The house is designed with great taste -every details feels carefully trough out. The gardens were absolutely stunning ,especially this time of the year with Magnolia tree in full bloom-it felt like little paradise .The atmosphere was peaceful and hosts kind and helpful. It was perfect spot to relax and enjoy each others company .Highly recommend-we would love to come back.

An incredible house with all the facilities you would need, and enough space for a big crowd. Hosts were great and on hand to answer any questions.

This is a beautiful property with so much room, it’s like its own tardis. The rooms are lovely with plenty of space for additional beds if needed, as we were 4 couples we didn’t require the extra beds. The dining room and cinema room were the highlights for us as it could be used for entertaining.
