10 of us stayed at Villa Emma for one week in May 2025, and our truly exceptional experience began well before we even set foot in Portugal. Around a week before our trip, we received a detailed and thoughtful message from the team, packed with everything we needed – from contact numbers to local tourist recommendations. They were incredibly attentive to our needs and even took the stress out of arranging airport transfers for our group. Nothing was ever too much trouble. On arrival, we were warmly welcomed by the lovely Caroline, who gave us a full tour of the villa. What a beauty! The villa is absolutely stunning – just as gorgeous as the photos and glowing reviews suggest. We were also greeted with wine and a delicious local treat, which was a lovely and thoughtful touch. The team had considered absolutely everything to make our stay comfortable and memorable. They were always available to answer any questions and were nearby in case we needed anything. We were also lucky enough to meet the owner, Hugo – a fantastic and down-to-earth guy. The heated pool was an absolute highlight – perfect for early morning dips and midnight swims. Villa Emma is a truly beautiful property, and I wouldn’t hesitate to return. Huge thanks to Caroline, Maria, and Catarina for looking after us so well – you made our holiday unforgettable!

This property is second to none - spotlessly clean with every possible facility/ utensil you could wish for available. It is very safe and secure and clearly superbly maintained. The condition of furnishings felt brand new and the pool and hot tub were immaculate and in full working order.

We recently stayed here for 2 weeks with 8 other members of the family, ranging in age from 17 to 70…I can honestly say we all had THE BEST TIME! Villa Emma along with Alvor, has every ingredient required for a perfect holiday in the sun… top quality accommodation, spotlessly clean & a concierge team that are second to none. All communication was extremely easy & dealt with very efficiently…a special shout out to Carolina who was always on hand if & when needed. The villa is situated in a quiet residential area so very peaceful & when you manage to drag yourself away, from the pool, table tennis, pool table, hot tub….it is only minutes in an Uber/Taxi from the beautiful beaches, restaurants (Thyme, Ruccula & Gastrobar 13 are a must), bars & several supermarkets. (We also made good use of Uber Eats) The photo’s are beautiful but in reality it is even more stunning…highly recommend & will definitely return.

“A perfect backdrop for a family holiday.”

Very beautiful and spacious which was ideal for two families. With the beautiful pool, hot tub, table tennis and pool table there was lots for the three teenagers to do rather than be constantly fixed to screens. There are no other villas particularly close by so we could be as noisy as we liked.
