Just steps away from the Alvor Beach, the Pestana D. João II Beach & Golf Resort offers 3 swimming pools and calm, green gardens. The gardens and pool were great . The beer unfortunately was awful . So flat my husband couldn’t understand how you could get a thing like a simple beer so flat and disappointing

Location is perfect , right on the beach and a walking distance from Alvor town . Staff all lovely and friendly. Room was on a high floor giving a clear side sea view .

“A relaxing stay in a beautiful beachfront hotel with easy access to the beaches and town of Alvor.”
The stunning views over the sea if you had a sea view room. The lovely gardens were a big bonus with shade and lovely birds to watch. The hotel lobby is very spacious and comfortable. Huge dining room for breakfast and very helpful and friendly staff. Good sized bathroom and wardrobe space.
