I believe everyone looks for places like this when booking a trip — hoping to experience something new, unique, and special that will make the journey truly memorable and personal. This is exactly that kind of place. Peace, nature, and probably the most beautiful beach I have ever seen. The building itself is unique, filled with antique furniture and paintings, unlike any accommodation I have stayed in before. For those looking for activities, there is a tennis court, a gym, and kayaks available. Breakfast can be delivered to your room for an additional charge, and the host is friendly and welcoming. A truly exceptional place that creates unforgettable memories.

Great location with beautiful views and beautiful beaches nearby. Close to Portimao by car There's a small cove nearby which I don't recommend as it's dangerous to access (although it's meant to be fixed soon), so we mostly used Praia do Ferto which is stunning and around a 5 minute walk. The owner is very kind and always happy to help

So quiet and luxurious. Wonderful beds and linens, lots of hot water and the friendliest family running a very professional hotel. We would stay again

This hotel is unique! The architecture, the beautiful old furniture in the hall, the surroundings. It is like an island in the midst of all these huge hotel complexes in the Algarve. Very quiet, a great place to relax. The breakfast is brought to your room when ordered and very delicious. But most of all, we were impressed by the hospitality of our hosts, Gonçalo and his father. They make you feel at home - always easy going, very helpful at all times. It is in walking distance to restaurants along the beach (take the elevator down to the Restaurant Caniços). Not to forget, in the hotel you can play tennis, table tennis, pool and there is a gym!

We loved the Hospitality and attention to detail! The view was amazing. It was very close to some beautiful views from the cliffs, which are all within walking distance. The breakfast is a must do!

Lovely, quiet hotel. Staff were very friendly and the rooms were very comfortable. Access to the hotel is via a rough track and a steep driveway but it is absolutely worth it for the beautiful setting and extensive views across the cliffs and sea. Highly recommend.

Amazing nice, quiet and beautiful place

I've pretty much enjoyed everything there. The room was nice and with a nice vie, very clean and comfortable. You can walk a bit and go nearby to watch the sunset which was super nice. The staff was very friendly and fun. They have a cute dog which is very energic and fun too!

Everything was really nice. From the moment I arrived until the moment I left. The place is huge and it is perfect for enjoying the quietness, beautiful view and to relax. You can take a quick dip into the sea in the morning and have the most stunning sunsets. Im already missing my espresso moment in the morning on my balcony. It's really good to have a rental car as it will give you a lot more flexibility and options. Good thing is that car rentals are super cheap. The owner and his son are super kind and they make sure you're happy and feeling welcome. Can't wait to be back!

Amazing views. Chill environment with a pool and private beach (if you don't mind a climb). The manager/owner gave us a nice run down of the surrounding area and was very accommodating. The room was clean and spacious. The views are breathtaking. The hotel is a little off the beaten path so best if you have a car. The town of Alvor is lovely and offers many restaurants and bars. It can be chilled and relaxing or if you're looking for a little more, one of the many Irish pubs or karaoke bars offered sing alongs and live entertainment.
