Overview
In the centre of idyllic Alvesta, close to all major transport connections and attractions like the Kingdom of Crystal and Huseby Manor, is the modern Hotel Rådmannen. The fresh en-suite guest rooms at Rådmannen are tastefully decorated and offer flat-screen TVs with cable channels, phones and trouser presses. Some rooms have a minibar. “Lovely hotel with a super breakfast. Would definitely re-book and recommend to anyone.”
Excellent location, the railway station is within view, just 2 minutes walk away. The seating areas for breakfast etc are so comfortable. Candles lit at every table for breakfast time. So welcoming. The breakfast was excellent!! So much choice with plenty of healthy goodies, fruit, nuts and seeds, even jugs of vitamin shots which were really great, 😋.

Excellent breakfast, very helpful reception staff and comfortable rooms. Bonus is that the hotel is less than 5 minutes away from train station.

“Take your time for breakfast”
I only stayed here for one night, because I had to catch a train at Alvesta station early the next morning. Since I arrived just before dinner, I didn't have much time to explore the facilities, but I assumed there was a sauna after running into two men wearing towels ;) The building isn't recent, but my room was clean and surprisingly spacious. The mushroom risotto I had for dinner didn't disappoint, but the huge breakfast buffet the next morning really took me by surprise. So if you have to catch a train, make sure you get to the restaurant early, so you won't have to choose between breakfast and the train ;)

“Great stopover between Malmo and Stockholm”
The facilities in our room were above par; we repented that we stayed there only for slightly more than 12 hours. The breakfast platter was great, and the staff members were very helpful in providing useful tourist information when asked.

Receptionist Mirela gave us a very warm welcome. The rooms are clean and comfortable. The hotel is excellent for its price. Special compliments for the breakfast, which is very tasty and varied.
