The house is really well decorated, the decoration was very modern and the exterior was nice, pleasant with a nice view. The location is isolated as we expected surrounded by restaurants with really nice Arouca meat. However, for me the biggest and nicest surprise was the host of the house! She was always really nice and friendly, always asking if we were ok and always being available to help and for having a nice conversation. And her breakfasts were hand made, done at the spot and tasting really nice and fresh! I absolutely recommend!

“Everything in its right place”
Everything about this place felt special and welcoming. From the thoughtful decor and beautiful setting to the incredible energy of the staff. Sandra, in particular, made us feel right at home. Some places stay with you for no particular reason, but just because everything feels right and in place. We only stayed one night, but we're definitely coming back!

My stay was absolutely wonderful! The property is stunning, with a beautiful setting that immediately feels welcoming. The breakfast was delicious and offered a great variety to start the day right. I especially loved the swimming pool, it was clean, inviting, and perfect for relaxing. Every aspect of my stay exceeded expectations, making it a truly memorable experience

Probably my new favourite stay! - Breakfast and drinks were homemade and very, very good. Way above your average hotel breakfast! - The service and attention to detail are outstanding. Sandra clearly loves what she does :) - The room I stayed in was very comfy and they cleaned it up DAILY. - The view is beautiful and you often get to see the clouds below the mountain in a sea of fluffiness. - Good internet (over 100MB/s download & upload outside the house). - Partner activities like rafting, canoeing, and canyoning are great fun and very professional. Bonus: The pool uses salt! Can't wait to come back.

Excellent location to arouca Bridge. We were looked after so well by Sandra and Anna and they were so welcoming and attentive. The place was spotless and the breakfast was excellent with lots of variety. We also really enjoyed the pool and the views are amazing.

“Wonderful place to stay!”
The house is beautiful, the decoration is up to the small details. Perfect location if you want to visit the bridge 516 Arouca and the passadiços. Breakfast was great, and Sandra was extremely helpful with all the information give. If you want to visit the bridge and the trail this is the perfect location to start.

Excepcional stay. We came with the intention of doing the Passadiços do Paiva, so for that, the location is perfect and just to relax. But what makes Casa Noronha Lima's stay extra special, is Sandra and her team. The attention to the guests, the 24/7 care, the help with activities and restaurants. We were home!

Staffs are friendly, attentive, and eager to help you feel at home. Family atmosphere. Great location to explore the 516 bridge and Pavia walkways. Fantastic restaurants are within walking distance away.

“Amazing little historic hotel with adorable staff in a perfect location.”
Beautiful historic property totally restored in a perfect location, ideal for visiting the most impressive Arouca Geopark. The hotel has only opened very recently. The owners have made an impressive effort to restore this magnificent building respecting every historic detail and adding the comfort and luxury of the 21st century. Breakfast is delicious. The hotel manager and the staff are just amazing. Everyone does their best to cater for every wish of the guests (tickets for visiting 516 Arouca, the Paiva Walkways, reservation for restaurants...). We recommend to stay at least 2 nights. The region has to offer, particularly for nature lovers.
