Very friendly staff helped us check in late. Good advice given to visit the bridge and Paiva walkways. The breakfast was plentiful. The place is very nice and clean and well located. I will definitely return to visit the region.

The property is located right in the heart of Alvarenga which is so beautiful. Ceda (hope this spelt correctly) was so attentive and helpful. Although we didn’t speak each other’s language, google translate was amazing. Nothing was too much trouble for her .

Great location if you plan to do the 516 Bridge (15 min walk). Shared spaces, the small patio garden, the kitchen . Very nice breakfast. Lovely hosts! The village itself is very nice and peaceful., 5 min walk from grocery store

Breakfast was good, they didnt have vegan options the 1st day, except for the fruits and bread. But they did got plant based milk, and other options for the 2nd day, after asking the owner. The hotel was very clean and excellent located for the Bridge 516 and Passadicos trail

Great location to be based for Ponte 516 Arouca. Our room was comfortable and nice and quiet. The facility is well appointed with shared space to relax in. The breakfast was tasty and set us up well for our walk. Parking was on the street but easy to access and close by. Handy to cafes and restaurants.

“Very welcoming & charming place to stay!”

Our stay at the small hotel in the Arouca region was simply superb! The staff was very accommodating, communication and check-in went smoothly. Good breakfast. Due to heavy rainfall, we ended up spending more time at the hotel than planned, but it was no issue at all. The atmosphere was cozy and welcoming. It is one of this thoroughly restored farmhouses, which provides all comodities of a modern home but maintaining the charme of a historic building. For a rather small village the place has a surprisingly good infrastructure with supermarkets, cafes, bars andr restaurant. Overall, a highly recommended place to stay.

Comfort!

This place worked really well for me and my elderly 73 year old mother. We were given the twin bedroom with a private entrance so suitcases only needed to get moved a short way. Parking was challenging since the roads are tight tight tight but Sonja, who managed our 2 day stay at this hotel, organzied a good parking spot for us. Sonja was just amazing. Just for her alone, we would return to this hotel. She was just fantastic and went above and beyond for us!

The location was fantastic, very close to Passadiços do Paiva, with several restaurants in the vicinity, and located in a calm street. The host was incredibly nice and very helpful, even changing our room to a quieter one. The breakfast had variety and in good portion. Also, the health measures due to the pandemic were very reassuring with clean surfaces and distance between guests (namely in the breakfast area).

Very nice old house refurbished into place to stay. The house is equipped with high level furniture (there is even a piano) and extremely clean. Access to the house is quite easy but there are not many parking places so you'll have to park in the nearby streets. There is also a small patio - nice to sit there in the sun.
