The location was great and parking was easy, right in front of the gate. The staff were extremely attentive and readily available to answer questions or help. The pool area was beautiful and we really enjoyed using it because of the hot weather. The room was well organised and clean.

I liked the initial price - but there were hidden fees.

Friendly and helpful staff. Great facilities for the price. Free bicycle rental available that I used to visit the local landmarks. A nice small cafe at the pool for coffee and light meals.

Everything is fine. The only downside is that it is very far from the center, and the road 1km from the highway is unpaved and very rough. Fortunately, the location is the way going to Hail, and we were going to Hail in the morning. Nearby are mountains. I like that view.

everything was perfect, rooms clean, staff very helpful and friendly. Refreshment in the pool and pool bar was perfect! Perfect location of the hotel to visit MADAIN SALEH. Parking outside in front of the apartment without a problem.

The hotel was really nice, well located (you need ot have a car), super clean. There is a nice pool area with the restaurant/café and place to relax. They provide you also bikes if you want to explore differently The room was perfect, super clean and not expensive compared to the surroundings The staff was really nice and helpful, especially Fawad who helped me to unsand my car. Thanks a lot for the stay and ee you next time for sure ;-)

“Unsafe for women, only for male guests”

The hotel is UNSAFE for female guests and It is not certain that you can use the pool.... we wanted to use the pool, but the handyman waiter (after calling someone for asking what to do - I assume the owner) told us that we couldn't. He said that it was because there were 3 young men in the pool. We could not even stay in the pool yard, and he asked us to go back to our room for the next three hours till the boys would go away. Those were not hotel guests but probably relatives/neighbours/friends of the owner (one came frome the house next door). I explained to the waiter that we had the right to enjoy the paid services. After calling someone again for asking what to do, the waiter reiterated that we could not bathe, but at least allowed us to stay in the pool courtyard. After two hours of waiting to use the pool, one of the guys, looking at me (I was covered and not even in a bathing suit), laughing while standing next to the pool shower (partially hiding), started masturbating until my husband intervened to make him stop. At that point, I began to worry because the young men kept laughing and shouting in arabic with his friends, till I said to the waiter that I was going to call the police. At that point the waiter sent them away.... We travelled a lot, but we never found ourselves in such a horrible situation. Customers should be able to use the services that they paid for and, mostly, female guests should be respected... Shame on the poor management. After we left the pool, further 10 younger boys (not hotel guests) arrived to swim in the pool and play in the courtyard. The pool is not dedicated to the hotel guests but mostly to their male friends.... Look for another hotel, it is unsafe for women and isolated, with unpaved road to arrive. Moreover, even if rooms are clean, the house next door has animals and it is full of flies. The air conditioning in the room also points directly to the bed.

“Fantastic Budget Hotel at Al Ula”

Very nice budget hotel at Al Ula. Even though small with just 8 rooms, the hotel offers a fantastic swimming pool for kids and adults. Fantastic Cafe which serves an average breakfast, hot and cold drinks. A fantastic sitting area all around the hotel and a fanstastic bicycle ride around the mountains. Must try Hotel.

“Apocalyptic swimming pool view”

Room was decent although had apocalyptic view of a swimming pool with giant inflatables. It's pretty hard to find reasonably priced accommodation in high-end Al Ula, but the location here (near Elephant Rock) was fine. I recommend hiring a car to get around the area anyhow.
