“Wonderful!”
Beautiful old hotel steeped in history that has been lovingly renovated and modernised. Staff were friendly and efficient. Reception (Manager) check in was perfect. Panorama spa was a surprise and was very enjoyable and relaxing. Every thing was scrupulously clean. Food was great, beer was good too. Can't fault anything

The room was perfect, surprisingly pretty town and lovely hotel staff. The lady at the breakfast was very kind, great selection to choose from. Was travelling with our dog, and they made us feel welcome, in the restaurant too.

“A gem of a hotel in Altötting!”
Perfect location, wonderful staff, great breakfast, comfortable bed, reasonable price. I stayed many times at this hotel together with my husband before and will keep on going back even without him anymore. I requested a room with a view of the shrine & i got the most awesome view of 3 churches! I could visit them as late or as early as i wanted ( mass at the Chapel of Grace (Gnadenkapelle) starts at 6 am & the Adoration chapel is open 24 hours! There’s Christkindlmarkt too and it was so beautiful with all the lights. I didn’t feel alone!

“Ideally situated just opposite of the shrine”
We had a room with a splendid view on the Kappellplatz. The comfort room with 30 sqm was super clean. WIFI apart from some cuts is fast. The breakfast is good and well garnished. There is a lounge on the first floor where on 24 hours free coffee and tea is available. All the staff were forthcoming and polite. Parking in the secured public covered garage is 5.-€ for 24 hours.

“Quite amazing how many churches they can build in such a small town....”
Location was phenomenal.... except that we spend Saturday night at Kapellenplatz, surrounded by church bells. Beautiful, but not ideal for those of us who want to sleep in...

This is a splendid hotel and location. I always try to get the grand rooms on the 1st floor to Kapelle platz and it’s always a wonderful experience 😉

“Great hotel for a relaxing getaway”
Beautiful old building, spacious room with high ceiling, lovely spa area, great view over the square. Good selection of traditional Bavarian dishes at the restaurant.
