Overview
On the slopes of Mountain Ida, Altın Çeşmeli Konak offers panoramic view to the Aegean Sea. The mansion features rooms with antique furnishings and a large garden. This hotel, with the air-conditioned rooms, has a wonderful view of Mytilene, Ayvalık and Gulf of Edremit. Each of the rooms features a private bathroom with hairdryer and a satellite TV. Guests can enjoy the hotel’s breakfast buffet, before exploring the traditional Turkish village of Altınoluk with the stone houses. Çeşmeli Konak has also a library where guests can relax with a book. During the summer there are touristic tours to historical places like Ayvalık, Bergama, Troy, Assos and Babakale. The hotel has a tour desk and free private parking. Free Wi-Fi is also available.

“Excellent!”
The breakfast is the typical "turkish" breakfast common to this locality, with fresh ingredients, and home-made jams and pastries thrown in. The location is just superb. It is difficult to get to through narrow streets and up a steep hill. But the destination is all worth it! The view from the rooms to the Edremit bay and Lesbos on one side, and to Kazdaglari on the other. Most rooms can see both. Just awesome. And the house itself and the furnishings are 100% authentic.

“Calm and peaceful historical house with amazing views”
We ended up in Altinoluk during a roadtrip as a stop-over in between Canakkale and Izmir. The Hotel is placed on the very top of the town and overlooks the entire bay offering some wonderful views. The rooms and the common areas of the Konak are very well decorated and feel really comfortable. The lady that welcomed us has been very kind and prepared a delicious breakfast making us feel at home.

“Konak review”
The Konak was very beautiful with incredible preserved architecture inside and out. The host and his wife were nice, relaxing and welcoming. We enjoyed our short stay a lot and would happily come back again.

A warm welcome and smooth check-in were the excellent start to an excellent stay. If you find yourself in the area, then look no further than this hotel where nothing is too much trouble. Excellent breakfast.

It was a very authentic experience. The furniture was old and unique. The staff was very friendly and they served very tasty home-made cakes for the breakfast.
