“Great place to stay in Altensteig”
Great place to stay when visiting Altensteig. Very clean, excellent top quality facilities and very quiet. The advantage of the restaurant downstairs serving good meals and an excellent breakfast by the friendly owner. The underground parking was key to our booking. Altensteig is a lovely town. The old town is up a steep hill from the guesthouse.

“Best time in the Black Forest”
Modern facilities in a historical building, best location in the Black Forest. It is difficult to describe in word how they care about all the details of our stay. Also, highly recommend to enjoy dinner in their restaurant. They offer authentic German food.

“Lovely village experience.”
Great place to stay. Modern and large enough rooms. Separate kitchen was a bonus. Nice to experience small village from where day trips e.g. to Stuttgart and Strasbourg are doable.

“Fantastic!”
Fantastic guesthouse! Beatrix is a great hostess! The owners paid great attention to the design of the building. The room is very comfortable because of all well thought out details and the room is super clean. All together, we had a very nice stay, and we will definitely try to visit again.

“Great relaxing friendly stay, will definitely use again on my next trip”
location was perfect for my needs, accommodation is new and very modern but with good historic details linking the rooms to the past. hosts were exceptional, went out of their way to make sure i was happy as was traveling alone. note to anyone on a motorbike trip , they have great underground secure parking for you bike. would highly recommend even a detour to stay here.

Spacious, modern and clean room in a hotel that has a great spot in the middle of Altensteig. With excellent hosts and staff who show care for their guests. Would definitely recommend this place and might even come back here myself.

Bedroom absolutely excellent -- large, comfortable, and with huge bed. Ensuite facility also first class . On site underground car parking and breakfast both excellent as well.

Really comfortable and spacious room. V nice little town in a lovely part of the world. Would have happily stayed longer and gone cycling nearby. Lovely hosts.
