Overview
Hotel Tossal d’Altea was built on the site of a traditional olive oil mill. It offers a gym, a sauna and an outdoor swimming pool set in a large garden. The hotel is in a quiet area of Altea, next to Palau Altea centre d'arts and the Fine Arts Faculty of Miguel Hernandez University. The historic centre of this Costa Blanca town is just a short walk away. San Pedro Park and the beach are just over 1 km from the Tossal d’Altea. Free private parking is available at the hotel. Rooms at the Tossal d’Altea have free wired internet access. They all have a safety deposit box and most rooms have a private balcony. The en suite bathrooms come with a bathrobe and a hairdryer. The hotel has a café-bar, with a TV and an open fireplace. Drinks can be served outside on the terrace.

The hotel itself it lovely. Reception staff were pleasant. Rooms was nice but would have been good to have tea/coffee making facilities for the standard of accommodation.

We booked a suite at Tossal d'Altea and it was amazing. The room was superb, the staff very friendly and when we ate in the restaurant, the food was phenomenal.

Location excellent with lovely views and only a short drive to the Old Town. The pool and the garden are lovely and the dining terrace is an attractive situation for all meals. The room was spacious, with small balcony and French doors allowing for an airy feel. The hotel was spotless.

Room was excellent with outside balcony. Had lunch at the hotel which was excellent. Service also brilliant. Buffet breakfast was very good with plenty of choice. This was our third visit to the hotel and we will always select this hotel when in Altea.

“Excellent hotel”
Lovely hotel on the edge of town. Very friendly staff. Hotel is clean and comfortable, with beautiful gardens. Breakfast was excellent too. We stayed for lunch and the food was outstanding served by really nice people.

“Lovely mini break”
Everything was lovely. Very clean and comfortable and the staff were friendly and helpful. The hotel is set in a very peaceful location but within easy walking reach of the old town. I would definitely return.
