“Good base for exploring Chur. Comfortable sleeping.”
What a great layout to this room with windows on two sides. The valley had clouds hovering so the forever nature scenery was a great view as we looked out to the mountains and valley. The farm with horses & sheep also was lovely to watch from our window. Facilities included, a kettle. Parking free and easy access. Yes it is on the road side but the window seemed to block out most noises and had little road traffic during our stay! A good hub to Chur and area. Great Aldi & shops 4mins by car down the road.

Room was a fabulous size and our dog was made welcome. Bed comfortable. View spectacular. Breakfast was delicious and winnie was very attentive and friendly. The host who checked us In was very informative and again friendly. Next time I will upgrade to a room with bathroom and stay much longer.

“The right place to stay in Altdorf - a nice balance of historic charme and comfort.”
Hotel is in the historic centre of the place celebrating Switzerlands hero Willhelm Tell, and is proud of its own history. Goethe stayed here and the rooms have been renovated with taste and attention to detail - including the anecdotal door knobs. The off season management is practical and friendly, all clean, generous space and comfortable, the breakfast healthy and good.

“Racist staff, don't visit ever!”
The hotel staff was abusive and racist to me. He passed some very personal comments to me and did not let me leave the hotel until I paid extra money. it was no where documented or policy isn't there. I complained to booking.com and waited on hold with customer service for 1.5 hours only to tell me that he couldn't do anything. I have to bear the racist comments, his abuses and unsafe behaviour and pay all the money i had left with me to just leave out of the hotel.
