“Exceeded expectations”

Fantastic stay - really enjoyed it. Very warm welcome from Rachele set the scene for our 4 night stay. Pizza, cakes and watermelon were much appreciated. Very spacious accommodation with 3 main rooms and 2 courtyards for our exclusive use. Lovely breakfast with food options. Great location in the heart of the city. It was buzzing at night, but the shutters kept the apartment soundproofed. Rachele was very helpful with advice on the locality.

“Stylish apartment in the city center”

Beautiful, stylish apartment right in the center of Altamura. The owner, Rachel, takes care of it with love. She paid attention to us, explained everything, and recommended a good place for dinner. She prepared an excellent breakfast for us. The apartment has two lovely terraces and, even though it is right in the center, it is quiet. Parking is 3 minutes from the apartment, with no problems. This was the best accommodation we had on our road trip through Apulia.

“A Magic Stay”

Hospitality and comfort at Rachel’s house truly shine. If you're traveling by car, you'll find convenient paid parking at Piazza Matteotti, just a few steps away and reasonably priced. Rachele will then welcome you with a kind smile and will take time to give a detailed explanation of the apartment. Her kind gesture of allowing a late check-in time made our arrival stress-free and it was greatly appreciated. The apartment itself is ABSOLUTELY STUNNING, perfectly located in the heart of Altamura, directly facing the Cathedral. Despite its central position, it is very peaceful and quiet, offering a calming retreat after exploring the city and surroundings. The photos online don’t do it justice; in person, the apartment is even more captivating and charming than what you might expect. It is really a magical experience. Every corner is adorned with beautiful art pieces and thoughtful decorations that add a personal and artistic touch. Both beds (in the master room and the couch bed) are very comfortable. In the morning, you will be served with a lovely breakfast including freshly baked pastries and jams homemade by Rachele. She even prepared a delicious fried egg for my partner, a sweet little indulgence just for him <3 ! Rachele even went the extra mile by arranging a dinner reservation for us at a local `osteria`, where we were treated wonderfully despite the very late arrival. We totally loved it. Honestly, Rachel’s House is a hidden gem in Altamura. It was probably the best stay of the whole vacation, creating for us a very memorable experience. We highly recommended it for anyone seeking comfort, charm, kindness and beauty. I will certainly come back, but next time, I will make sure to stay at Rachel`s house longer.

“Storytelling”

Everything superlative. Location, accommodation, exceptional breakfast cooked by the host. In the center of the center. I am very glad that I chose this accommodation. Rachel is wonderful, ready to help you with anything. A location with great taste, refinement and attention to detail. My husband and I, along with my cousin, felt like we were in a story. You have to try it to understand. The pictures remain pictures, they cannot capture the location in all its splendor.

The apartment is right in the centre of Altamura. It is stunning! Spacious, well equipped and spotlessly clean. We had a lovely breakfast each morning. We thoroughly enjoyed our stay. Rachel was kind and generous.

A really fantastic stay for my wife, 5 year old, & I. Location is central. Accommodation is homely. We were very comfortable. Rachel is a great host. We had a very early departure the next day. I really wasn't expecting anything but Rachel even made us breakfast and coffee for our 5am departure. Thank-you for a lovely stay. I would definitely come back.

“Thoroughly enjoyable experience.”

Rachele was a very kind and generous host. Her breakfasts were excellent - different each day and prepared with care, using local produce. The accommodation was tastefully presented, making use of interesting and antique features which we appreciated. The bed was large and very comfortable, bathroom and kitchen were well equipped and beautifully decorated. It was ideally located, next to the cathedral but we were not disturbed by church bells. We enjoyed the rooftop terrace.

“A fantastic stay”

This was the best apartment I have ever stayed it. Rachel is a wonderful host, and made us feel very welcome during the whole stay. Her breakfasts were delicious and plentiful. The home is located right next to the Duomo, in the heart of the old town. The apartment itself is beautiful, with lots of care and attention to detail put into it. Everything was perfect.

Rachel is very kind and helpful lady! The apartment is really fancy, each piece of equipment is very stylish and carefully selected. Location simply can not be better, just amazing! We were invited with a snack and drink, what was very nice. Breakfast was great, omelette and so many sweet pastries, coffee, tea... Everything you may need. When I am back in Altamura, I will definitely book with Rachel again!

Staying in at Rachel's apparments was wonderful. We were on a trip in November. Richella greeted us with dinner and a warm welcome. The apartment was warm and nice when it was raining outside. In the morning we got a delicious breakfast and a big roasted cake and of course espresso and cappuccino. We spent a wonderful time at Rachel's apparment and rested after visiting of Matera. Thank you. We will definitely be back.

Everything was perfect! The house was exceptional, with all the requirements needed, located in the center of Altamura's old town. The host, an elderly lady, was one of the loveliest people I have ever met. We celebrated our anniversary, and it was the best place to be. In the morning, she cooked us a breakfast we’ll remember for ages. I recommend this house to everyone!

“The most lovely place to stay in Altamura!”

Me and my daughter had an amazing stay at Rachele’s house in Altamura. The pictures are beautiful, but the reality is even more fantastic! The location is perfect, right by the cathedral in the old town, and we had a rooftop terrace with a view of the church tower. Rachele is the most wonderful host we’ve ever had at a B&B. She prepared a delicious welcome meal for us, and the breakfast she served was both beautiful and tasty. 10/10 isn’t enough – this place deserves a 12! Rachele met us on arrival at the property and made us feel very welcome with a drink and a treat. The property is ideally located in the centre of Altamura. Parking is nearby at the piazza. The property is spacious, comfortable, and furnished to perfection with unusual antiques. There are two outside terraces. Rachele is the perfect hostess, her breakfasts are delicious with omelette's, pastries, cakes, and always something a little different served on beautiful china. Nothing was too much trouble and we were always treated with kindness and warmth. Fresh bottled water was provided daily along with small treats. Rachele attended to our laundry, and was very approachable and easy to communicate with. If ever we return to Altamura we would stay at "Rachel's House" again and would recommend this property to anyone. Thank you Rachele for a Wonderfull stay.

We had the amazing luck to stay at Rachel’s house for 4 nights. The apartment itself is lovely, it is beautiful and very spacious. There are private outdoor terraces where you can enjoy some time outside as well. The apartment is decorated with excellent taste and is incredibly charming. And the location is just perfect, you are right in the heart of everything. (The apartment is very quiet at night though, which we appreciated.) The real treasure of this place is the hostess Rachel though! She met us when we arrived with such kindness and warmth, as well as a welcome drink and homemade treat. Every morning she made us an incredible breakfast to enjoy! We found a wide variety of delicious homemade delicacies on trays outside our apartment. We truly felt like royalty during our stay here. She was so easy to communicate with and always available if we needed anything. Staying here made our time in Altamura so much more special than we could have imagined. We hope to return again soon!
