Location top, very close to restoraunts, bakery....clean and well maintened for use most important thing,kindness and contact with Giovanni,bed and toilette and kitchen accesories.. Room 1 and room 3 are great. Definetelly recommendation for this rooms. Good value for money. Thanks for nice stay we gonna return again!

The property itself is absolutely beautiful, very charming & tastefully decorated. It’s also got lots of really nice little touches such as bottles of Water, Wine & Prosecco (chargeable at reasonable price) if you want them. The bed is extremely comfortable & there’s also air conditioning. The host was also very friendly & welcoming.

“A lovely stay in Altamura”
The B&B is located in a beautiful cloister and a few steps from all the historic sites. Pre check in, Giovanni advised on where to park to avoid entering the historic zone and paying a fine. On arrival, he helped us with our luggage, showed us the facilities in the room and followed up with suggestions for dinner. The room is beautiful, very modern with high quality finish.

Mattei Luxury B&B was a gem. We loved it. The location was wonderful, situated among the streets of the old town. The room was very tastefully decorated with attention to detail and everything you need. Giovanni was a lovely host and since I only spoke English, he got Antonio to help. We were shown where the best local bakery is (yum) and were recommended a really great restaurant near the apartment. My only advice is if you are driving and need a parking space, be sure to be in touch with Giovanni before you arrive to drive to the parking location he shows you (just a couple of minutes away from the B&B). I made the mistake of not paying attention to the messages and we drove right up the the B&B entrance which is very narrow. This was my mistake.

“Modern accommodation in a charming and historical backdrop”
The staff was extremely responsive and helpful. They went above and beyond in helping me figure out transportation to the B&B. The room is in the historic center and has many modern amenities - the shower is large and the bed/ finishing touches were very comfortable and luxurious. You are extremely close to the main hub but tucked away enough that you don’t have a lot of noise.
