Overview
Housed in a 16th-century building, Malandrì is located in Altamura's historic centre, a few steps from S. Maria Assunta Cathedral and 19 km from Matera. It offers free Wi-Fi, a traditional restaurant, and spacious rooms. All rooms at the B&B Malandrì are fitted with terracotta floors and wooden furniture. “Tutto perfetto!”
Our hosts, Andrea and Giuseppina were very nice and helpful, provided us with all of what to see and do information and fun facts about Altamura, made dinner reservations and made sure we had a very cosy and sweet stay. Giuseppina's prepared excellent breakfast and coffee in the morning but it didn't stop us from trying delicious foccaccia in this pitoresque little town.

During our stay in beautiful Altamura, we enjoyed an idyllic apartment with a lovely rooftop terrace. The accommodation was charming, comfortable, and fully equipped. Andrea was exceptionally friendly and hospitable. He gave us excellent tips for exploring Altamura and recommended great restaurants where we enjoyed delicious meals. The breakfast was also well-prepared and varied. Additionally, the bed was incredibly comfortable, allowing us to start each day well-rested. In short: a wonderful stay in a beautiful location. We highly recommend this B&B to anyone wishing to visit Altamura

“Perfect stay in the heart of Altamura with exceptional hospitality”
The room was perfect: very spacious and super clean. Giuseppina also left us a lovely little welcome gift with travel-size products such as shampoo, body cream, and other essentials, which was a really thoughtful touch. We received a very warm welcome from Andrea, who kindly explained everything about the city, including the main attractions and places of interest, while also giving us a map to help us explore the area. We truly felt that he made an extra effort to ensure we fully enjoyed our stay in the city. We were travelling by motorbike, and they also offer the possibility, for an extra fee, to park in a secure garage. This is a great option if, like us, you are travelling with a valuable vehicle and want extra peace of mind knowing it is safe and protected. The B&B is literally in the city centre, making it the perfect location to explore Altamura on foot. Highly recommended to friends and anyone planning to visit Altamura. And let’s not forget the breakfast: it was absolutely delicious and kept us going for hours before getting hungry again!

I had a wonderful stay at Malandri B&B in Altamura! The place is beautiful, very clean, and decorated with great taste. The room was spacious, comfortable, and extremely well maintained, creating a relaxing and peaceful atmosphere. The hosts are incredibly kind and welcoming, always ready to help with recommendations or anything you might need to feel at home. The breakfast was delicious and varied, with fresh products. The location is also great for exploring Altamura and the surrounding area. You can really see that the owners put a lot of care and passion into every detail. I highly recommend Malandri B&B to anyone looking for a comfortable, clean, and welcoming place to stay.

We had a wonderful welcome by the owner, who also gave us great tips and advice on what to do, and explained the city history and sites in detail. The apartment was beautiful and the location is perfect. Also they serve amazing breakfast each morning. Highly recommend!

“A most enjoyable place to saty”
The breakfast was authentic Altamura food with a heavy emphasis on bread type food - this was wholly suitable for where we were staying The highlight was the incredibly engaging and charming host , who could not have been more helpful.

“Go and stay - you will not regret it!”
Wonderful spot, tucked out of the way in the Old town run by a very accommodating family with beautiful attention to detail. Fantastically clean, comfortable and friendly. It’s a lovely town with tiny winding streets and a vast piazza, worth lovely nightlife. Don’t miss it.

Very unique room in a beautiful old building, situated in the city center, a public parking place just around the corner! The best thing about it are the people that run it! Andrea and his mother are the nicest people, giuseppinas breakfast with homemade cakes, foccacia and fruit from her garden is very delicious, andrea has a lot of hints and tipps about what to do and where to eat! Trust him, he knows his place!
