“A comfortable B & B with character”

This is a beautifully traditional B & B which is very comfortable and centrally located. The host was welcoming and helpful and the breakfast delicious. We loved it.

Beautiful old building impeccably maintained and furnished . It is very close to the cathedral, the main "passeggiata" and lots of restaurants and cafes. The host is very curteus a d helpful. This is by far the nicest place we have been while walking the Cammino Materano....and breakfast? Wow!

It was perfect, and the host, an incredible kind, polite and professional person! I so much recommend this place! An immersion experience into a beautiful esthetic world hard to find nowadays! A warm person and true gentleman is welcoming you into an incredible house/villa , with all the details set to perfection, where you can admire the italian architecture, see the most important cathedral of the city on the balcony, and enjoy a delicious breakfast and best Capuccino ever! The location is perfect, in the middle of the old town of Almatura. The owner of the hotel was very helpful and kind. If like to feel real Italy, then choose this hotel.

Our host was extremely welcoming and quick to help with our requests. The location is also superb - literally in the heart of the old city of Altamura..

“A beautiful old house, in a great central location”

The property was beautiful. It was like a mini stately home, with lots of antique furniture and art. The air conditioning in the room was very effective. The owner Nunzio is a real gentleman. Very helpful, as is his son who I exchanged messages with. The B&B is just steps away from the cathedral and a lively square where you can enjoy a drink outside. If you are a fan of bakeries you must find time to visit Forno Santa Caterina. It’s only a seven minute walk away and produces some amazing goods!

Very exclusive experience in the historical family property ran by the owner! Lots of design details that would make you feel the ancient spirit of the place. Very good breakfast by Italian standards - with jogurt, ham and cheese options. Very special roof top terrace.

House with more than 500 years of history with lots of finess, next to the Cathedral in the old city Center of Altamura, near of commerce and with a wonderful breakfast. An experience to repeat!

“Hidden medieval gem in the heart of Altamura”

This medieval tower in the middle of Altamura was a fantastic surprise. Rooms were spacious, super clean with very comfortable beds. Signor Nunzio was a perfect host. We loved the sumptuous breakfast with of course the famous Altamura bread. Excellent location. Would definitely stay here again.

The accommodation is in a beautiful location in the centre of the city. The building is fabulous, the room was nice and clean. The breakfast was ok for an Italian B&B. We loved this place, would love to come back.

A very comfortable stay in a good location

The building is historic and has an amazing tile floor. Lots of original touches. The host Pasquale is amiable.

Italian style bed and breakfast but with a classy twist. Right in the center of Altamura, close to everything. Very nice building and interiors, very nice communication with the host! If you want to visit the area ( Madera and/or Bari) but you don't want to stay in the busy areas of those two cities, than Altamura is the right place for you! The hotel is in the pedestrian area so no car access but you can find parking 2-3 minutes away by foot - try on Corso Vittorio Emanuele II.
