Absolutely breathtaking view from the beach, and the cabanas are right there on the beach. It’s lovely to have a private piece of playa mango. Loved picking up mangos for breakfast. Short walk along the lake to a nice restaurant and place for kayak tours on the rio.

We loved our stay here and wished we had longer! Extremely peaceful and amazing sunset views, with plenty of places to chill by the water. One of my favourite stays during our 6 months in central and South America.

Its gorgeous, feels very remote calm and eco friendly. The view from the hut right onto the lake is beautiful! The breakfast was tasty. The bed was very spacious and comfy!

“Basic, budget option hostel in an incredible location”

Location is second to none, excellent sized bed and good sized room. Everyone was really friendly and helpful, helped to arrange our hike up Concepcion. The kitchen was basic but well equipped. Loved being able to have a dip in the lake on demand. Some of the best sunsets we've seen anywhere in Central America

“Lovely natural place right in the Laguna”

It is very basic and they keep the place natural. There are different animals living around and at the hostal (Dogs, Cats, Ducks, Pigs). The huts are also very basic but clean and the bed was huge&comfortable. Bed linen smelled wonderful :) The local manager was really kind, helpful and communicative. And his nice wife made us coffee every morning. One day he took us to the Volcano Maderas, was a great tour - great guide! :) Thanks for everything

We loved our stay here, the rooms are spacious, comfortable and chic, and right on the most beautiful beach in ometepe, with a volcano view. Was a pleasure hanging out with all the animals and soaking in the vibes of the location and the people it attracts

“The best place to stay in Ometepe”

La Sirenita is an amazing place to stay. It is a hidden gem right on the lake. It is very peaceful with the most beautiful sunsets on the island and a great and affordable bar just next door - take a walk on the beach. It is a simple accommodation with all the basics you need. If you love nature, camping and being surrounded by animals - this is the place for you. We especially loved Moka, the dog who will follow you around and provide loads of protection. The staff were so helpful, the breakfasts were delicious and very reasonably priced. It was so affordable! I highly recommend and can't wait to go back!

Absolutely amazing and beautiful place! Basic but clean bungalows right on the lake and near Playa Mango without any disturbance from there. Completely nature oriented with farm animals and playful dogs Lukas, the host, was also very kind and helpful, wishing him the best in his projects. the Kayak tour with Dixon was also great, spotting 3 caimans

The owner is lovely and creates a very chill atmosphere around the place. The farm animals are great to be around and the locationa at the lake is just gorgeous. You can basically jsut get up and instantly view the vulcano. We have absolutely loved our stay here!

Βasic but very comfortable huts,located right on the island' best stretch of volcanic beach,with sublime views of Conception volcano and blissful sunsets. Only three huts in the property,giving a feeling of privacy and calmness. Staff members were polite and helpful. Wifi was strong. Was not hot in the night,due to the refreshing lake breeze. Overall,very good value for money. Feels a world apart from ordinary places on the gringo trail!

Peaceful and relaxing, waking up for breakfast for a brilliant view of the volcano and so close to the lake. The local staff members on the island were excellent, helpful and very friendly! Great breakfast cooked and good coffee as well! Great sized room and large bed, 1 min walk to playa mango for sunset

The staff is so friendly, the location is excellent, and our kids loved the farm animals! The accommodations are basic, it is glamping, but the view is absolutely breathtaking!

The accommodations are pretty rustic, but this can be quite charming. The huts are right on the beach, so you can watch the sunset from your bed if you like.
