10 km from Alta City and 500 metres from Alta River lies Trasti & Trine Boutique Hotel. Surrounded by forest, the location offers good hiking, skiing and biking trails straight from the cottage door. There is both free WiFi and free on-site parking. Trasti & Trine Boutique Hotel also includes a sun terrace and plenty of room outside for children to play. The accommodation offers both rooms and cottages. Local and organic food has a big value at Trasti & Trine, where homemade organic breakfasts and culinary dinner experiences are offered by their chefs on request. There is dog yard with 60 Alaskan huskies, not far from the cottage. Guests are welcome to go into the kennel and in the summer puppies are very happy for the extra attention. The nearest airport is Alta Airport, 11 km from the property.

“Winter wonderland at its best”
Perfect stay in the Arctic Circle where we were transported into another world. Everything is just… magical. The whole area was covered in thick blanket of snow and we got to see the elusive Northern Lights at its very best, on our first night. We stayed for 3 nights and also did dog-sledding while it was snowing. There is nothing we would change about our trip. Everyone there is really friendly and you are just really well taken care of. Highly recommend.

The surroundings are like a picture out of movie scene!! Absolutely magical. Staff are amazing & my room was very clean & comfortable. Have loved the beauty surrounding me. I am a solo woman traveller & felt very safe & well looked after.

“Fantastic two days.”

It was such a beautiful location. We had a great time there. Feels like staying in a winter wonderland. The employees there, where really helpfu and friendly. “Exceptional Retreat”
Beautiful cabins, lots of effort to make everything as green and energy efficient as possible, very quiet (except for the huskies) The cabin itself won't hold much but you can get anything you need by asking.

“Exceptional Accommodation”
This is the best choice for accommodation in Alta. For the first moment, we felt like home. - kind, very friendly and full of professional approach by the staff - spacious room & bathroom, cozy decoration - exceptionally clean room / bathroom - tasteful breakfast and unique dinner (many choices for wine) - yard is full of green and flowers and there are benches everywhere to enjoy your coffee under the sun - there is a bar and a bakery within the property - do not miss the activities with the dogs - bio & ethical approach of their activities/facilities Really, I hope to visit this place again - highly recommended !

“Fabulous little gem”
Everything! The location is great - not far from Alta and local attractions, yet you're out in the woods. The food is to die for and the staff are fantastic - so friendly and helpful. We did a 30 day tour of Scandinavia and stayed in 26 different hotels/b&b's. Trasti and Trini was one of the best and was definitely a highlight of our holiday. Loved the huskies!
