Overview
This hotel is located near the beautiful Lake Bistensee in the Hüttener Berge Nature Park, near the A7 motorway. Seehotel Töpferhaus offers modern country-style rooms with views of the lake or surrounding beech forest. All rooms are comfortably furnished and feature a TV, desk and private bathroom. The restaurant offers Nordic cuisine prepared from regional produce, as well as surprising wines, seasonal menus and à la carte options. “Dreamy lakeside stay!”
Absolutely perfect! Well situated in the country side, so yes there’s a dwindling drive from the motorway. When arriving by the lake you have a stunning view and garden with outdoor seating if weather is sunny. We got a lovely room on the ground floor with a patio. Perfect as we travel with dog. Mosquito nets in the rooms so could sleep with door slightly open. New England style interiors. Light, clean and spacious. Restaurant serves local dishes and is a must. Lovely staff and if you can - stay here for a dreamy country stay!

Beautiful location. Hotel is warm and inviting. You can help yourself to free tea and biscuits fruits coffee sparkling and still water, they even had free sparkling wine. Super nice gesture. The rooms are nice and cozy. Breakfast is rich. Food for all kinds of wishes. Dining room quit. and species. Disappointment We ordered "chefs table" for dinner and we ordered the carnivore version. Out of eight dishes we only was served two with meat. That is not what we call carnivore version and we even double checked with the sweet waitress, that we ordered the carnivore version, so that was a little disappointing even though the food tasted very good.

The restaurant had a very nice feature - sharing entires and mains between the couple. Never seen this before but a nice touch.

Great area to rest, take a walk and take in nature. Spectacular view from bedroom widow of duck on the lake. Met lots of nice people and had interesting chats at the coffee machine in the foyer.

“Lovely and peaceful place”
Excellent stay and very convenient just off the motorway. Lovely gardens and view overlooking the lake. Very good food though somewhat inattentive and inexperienced service at the table.

“We were sure we would return also with some friends, but the menu is the problem!!!”
