Once the resident of residence of the Thakur of Alsisar, Alsisar Mahal was refurbished into a luxurious heritage hotel. It features stunning architecture and luxurious interiors with Rajasthani motifs and antique furniture. Offering an outdoor pool and a courtyard restaurant, it also provides cultural activities and sightseeing tours. The Alsisar Mahal Hotel is 23 km from Jhuhjhunu, the district headquarters. It is 250 km away from Jaipur Airport. Fitted with hand-carved wooden furnishings, the air-conditioned rooms have a seating area, cable TV, and tea/coffee making facilities. Each room has a private bathroom with a bathtub and hot shower. Guests can relax in the reading hall, or make travel arrangements at the tour desk. There are magnificent courtyards and walking paths throughout the property. Currency exchange and laundry services are available. Rajasthani, Chinese and international dishes are served at the open-air restaurant, which also has a bar area.

“Enjoyable but potential for making it memorable.”
Breakfast was good. Location was a bit too isolated as there was not much to do or see in the neighbourhood. We were very disappointed with the birthday cake we ordered as it was mainly huge chunks of cream with very thin slices of cake. We were charged Rs.700 and had to give away most of it to the dining room staff. The metal chairs on the terraces were not provided with cushions until a group of foreigners checked in.

Fort in itself is very beautiful, surrounded by semi-arid desert. Rooms are airy and comfortable.
