“Perfect Family Stay in a Peaceful Houseboat”

We had a wonderful stay at this houseboat with our two small children — it truly exceeded our expectations. The host was incredibly kind and welcoming, providing clear instructions and even a lovely gift of homemade honey and jam. The accommodation was spotless, comfortable, and fully equipped with everything we needed. We especially loved the private sauna, perfect for relaxing after a day out. Our kids adored the loft beds, and the peaceful surroundings — with birds and ducks all around — made the stay even more special. The location is quiet yet convenient, with Amsterdam nearby and great for visiting places like The Hague and Efteling. A memorable experience we would highly recommend!

“Magical sauna boat on river with incredible bird life”

The houseboat is a little slice of heaven . Its location on the Oude Rijn opposite farms and windmills and surrounded by the most wonderful birdlife makes it magical . The in built sauna with a ladder to dip off the deck into the river is an extra treat which we used twice daily as it heats up quickly and easily . The boat itself is perfectly designed - it has everything you need and feels luxurious from the bedding to the bathroom to the kitchen with nespresso machine and unlimited coffee pods ( to enjoy from the deck). It is in a great location ( as long as you have a car ) to visit a whole range of Dutch towns and sights including the famous Keukenhof gardens . Astrid and her family are lovely to deal with too and was hugely welcoming . Our children adored it as much as we did and we cannot wait to go back . Hugely recommended .

The location was absolutely amazing with the visiting ducks a highlight for our daughter. The honey and jam were a lovely touch and would definitely stay again and spend more time exploring the area. The kitchen was well appointed for self-catering purposes, the shower was amazing, the sauna was amazing.

The house is perfect! It´s beautifully designed and has all the necessary details for you to feel a 100% comfortable. Good bed and linen, fully equipped kitchen, of course great and chill views and an amazing full bathroom (the sauna is really really good!!). It´s clean, tidy and really feels like being home. The host Astrid is super sweet, generous and attentive; the way she treats you contributes to make the stay a great experience, good work!! We fully recommend it :) thank you!!

“A beautiful dream stay”

The floating house is located next to a beautiful small garden, with a lovely little terrace, in a dream surrounding! Not only do you have the terrace, but also a second one, with an arm-chair, directly on the water. One can enjoy the beauty of the river from anywhere in the house. There is a parking space directly in front of the access door, in a calm neighborhood. The sauna is a plus. The kitchen is equipped with everything needed, the heating is controlled by the client so the comfort is excellent.

We loved the location which is great for visiting a range of cities, towns and sites. We visited Amsterdam, The Hague, Kinderdijk, Eftleing theme park and more... We also loved swimming in the river and being able to warm up in the Sauna after a long day site seeing.

Such a peacful and beatiful place. It feels like a fairy tail with swans and ducks that comes in the mornings. Astrid is very nice, attentive and thoughful. The kitchen is well equipped, and thinking down to the smallest details is evident. The location is great too, close to leiden, gauda, rotterdam and utrecht and all of the sights in between

Peaceful pastoral atmosphere, great facilities and very nice hosts - what else do you need for a perfect stay?! Enjoyed every minute of it. Great location for those travelling by car. No private parking, but enough parking space at the street. Fantastic sauna. And the house itself on the water - absolutely great impression. Hope to be back some day!

Our stay at Aangenaam op de Rijn, woonboot was absolutely delightful. The host, Astrid, was truly remarkable. She went above and beyond to ensure our stay was comfortable and enjoyable. Astrid was always available to assist us with anything we needed, making us feel well taken care of throughout our four-night stay. Getting to the location was easy, and we were pleased to find that there was a parking space for us. Astrid was there to greet us when we arrived, which was a lovely personal touch. The beauty and tranquility of the surroundings were truly the highlight of our vacation. The location provided a peaceful and serene atmosphere that was a welcome escape from the hustle and bustle of daily life. The apartment itself was exactly as described, and I was impressed with how well-organized it was. Despite the limited space, the layout of the apartment made excellent use of the available area. The kitchen was well-equipped with everything we needed to prepare our meals. It was a pleasure to cook in such a functional and thoughtfully designed space. Cleanliness is always important to me, and I was pleased to find an abundance of clean and fresh-smelling towels available. The shower in the apartment was amazing, providing a refreshing and invigorating experience. However, the true gem of this accommodation was the private sauna. It was an absolute delight to have access to such a luxurious amenity. The sauna added an extra level of relaxation and indulgence to our stay, and we thoroughly enjoyed it. Beautiful, peaceful and cosy place. Great sauna, clean bathroom (various soaps available) with nice comfy shower. We really appreciated the terrace in front of the "woonboot". Astrid and her husband are wonderful people. We felt right at home! Just go there and enjoy a wonderful stay in a special place.
