Liondgate is a wonderful light and airy apartment in easy walking distance of the castle and gardens. The parking permit provided for the duration of our stay meant we didn't need to drive again until we left which was a real treat! The welcome pack was very thoughtful and tasty.

“8 night Northumberland break.”
Fantastic apartment,lovely welcome pack,the apartment had all the amenities we needed,directly opposite Alnwick Castle,short walk into main part of town,for shops,bars,pubs,restaurants etc,great location for exploring Northumberland,Lynn was a great host.

The property was in a great location and the welcome pack we received had so much detail we had everything we needed before we even arrived! We also got a welcome pack in the apartment with some pantry items, milk and a bottle of wine. Absolutely amazing apartment, highly recommend and we would stay again!!

Felt very safe as a solo traveller. Easy, free residents parking provided. Central location but still quiet. Felt like a home from home which I prefer to a hotel room. Personally found the bed really comfy!

Stunning location (despite the castle being closed), surprise welcome hamper, cosy well appointed appointed apartment. We enjoyed a few days exploring the beautiful coastline and always looked forward to a relaxing evening back at the flat.

This apartment is ideally situated in the centre of Alnwick with the castle entrance just across the road. Parking was easy just around the corner. The apartment is comfortably furnished and a great welcome pack was provided on our arrival.

Loved the location and the welcome pack. It was wonderfully comfortable and very quiet even tho the castle was showing Mama Mia on our first night you couldn’t really hear it! The bed was so comfy and the fabrics and towels were deluxe.
