My room was good and the bed very comfortable with quality bedding. The breakfast was excellent with lots of variety and choice. I also enjoyed a delicious evening meal on the 2 nights I stayed. Also the company of fellow guests at meal times.

“Hosts Jane and Adrian are both warm friendly and professional. Ingram house is beautiful”
Firstly the host Jane welcomed us in a warm and professional manner later we met with her husband Adrian both are so welcoming and had a great sense of humour . This accommodation is their home and has a very personal feel to it rather than booking into a b n b with a code . Jane recommended two places for an evening meal and rang up to check availability for us . The Percy Arms in Chatton was booked , fresh local produce used for meals so thumbs up for us . Ingram House is so interesting with lots of pictures family portraits books to read magazines antique furniture. We would definitely book again bed so comfy . Close to Linhope Spout be careful not to drop your mobile in it as I did !!! Scenic walks in Ingram Valley with a cafe streams for little ones to plodge in . It was my partners birthday , all this and the happy birthday from the hosts made this so special and not to forget the cooked breakfast with beautiful silver condiments and utensils in a gorgeous dining room .

“All in all a good place to stay, on a warm day.”
There is a lot to like about this property. It is in a very rural location which was perfect for us. We received a very warm welcome from the host. The house had some lovely antique furniture and ornaments, which we liked. The bed is a double and it was big enough for us and incredibly comfortable. Having spent 10 days touring Scotland it was possibly the most comfortable night's sleep we had. The bathroom is a private bathroom a little down the hall from the bedroom. There is a bath and a hand held shower for hair washing purposes. The breakfast was great, a mix of fruit and yogurt, cereal, fruit juice and a cooked breakfast. It was beautifully served at the table shared with other guests which was lovely and it was good to share stories.

The location was perfect. 20 minutes off the beaten track which is exactly what we were after, so peaceful and tranquil. We had our own private bathroom located just a stone's throw from our room, with the added bonus of a bath. At breakfast we sat with the other guests and shared stories which was lovely.

“A lovely overnight stay in a beautiful area.”
Breakfast was lovely in a really lovely dining room. The owner was friendly and welcoming. The property is in the middle of nowhere but that was amazing as I have never experienced total silence. No planes, cars just the sound of the birds and bees. I chose this property because the gardens looked beautiful but it was a bit over grown probably as most of the plants were had flowered .

Genial hosts who made us feel comfortable and welcome. Impressed by the way we were greeted and how they went out of their way to say goodbye when we left. The property is a beautiful old house with a cosy feel to it. Our room was clean and comfortable. Breakfast was lovely with plenty of choice served in a grand dining room. The location is ideal for those who prefer a quiet stay but still the house felt like it was full of life. Overall our stay was excellent and would fully recommend it to anyone.

Visiting with Jane & Adrian - because that is very much how it feels - was a joy. You will be staying in an old country house, in a quiet valley amidst a working farm, so this is not the place for the identikit b&B experience! But, looking for the genuine rural article inside the National Park, nothing could have suited us better: welcoming hosts, excellent advice on dining in Wooler (have a look at Ad Gefrin!), comfortable beds, a wonderful garden and a first class breakfast. If you are that way inclined, I highly recommend scrambled eggs and, particularly, the sausages! I'm only sorry we didn't get a clear night for the dark skies. Perhaps another time 😊
