“A really lovely place to stay close to Alnwick's centre”

Bev and David were excellent hosts, very welcoming and friendly and with a real eye for detail. The space we had was lovely, a large beroom with sofa, plus a dining area and excellent bathroom. Breakfasts were delicious and varied and we loved the small touches - bathrobes, welcome cake on arrival, sherry in the room.

Wonderfully comfortable and clean. Clearly decorated and filled with good quality furnishings etc. Warm welcome from hosts. Really sumptuous breakfast served to you in the room. Easy to walk into town and to the Alnwick gardens and castle from the property. Highly recommend if visiting the area.

Lovely welcome from our host who explained all the facilities in detail, with a lovely cup of tea & a piece of cake. Breakfast was served in our room promptly each morning with a large selection of breakfast items to choose from & was very tasty. Location was perfect for Alnwick town centre which was only a brief 10 minute stroll down the road. Next to Alnwick Garden & Castle & Barter Books. Room facilities were faultless & was extremely clean & well presented.

Bev and David were fantastic hosts and nothing was too much trouble. Bev even went to the trouble of putting a lighter duvet on the bed prior to our arrival at our request. We loved our stay in the Tack Room..it was a a real home from home with everything we needed. The facilities were spotless and we loved having our own kitchen area where we could prepare a meal or make sandwiches. David gave us lots of advice regarding local gems to visit. Breakfast was superb...punctual and prepared beautifully. The ingredients were of excellent quality. The room was refreshed daily. Parking was a bonus and the property is well located for a short walk into town, the local supermarket and resturants. We would love to revisit soon! “1st time visit to Alnwick”

Clean, tidy and everything you could need for a short break. David was fantastic, he couldn’t have been more helpful.

What an absolute treat. Such a lovely warm welcome from a lovely couple. Tea and cake waiting on arrival. The rooms were beautifully clean, comfortable and well maintained. Breakfast had a wide variety for us to choose from and was deliciously home cooked. They couldn't do enough for us. We will definitely stay again when we can. The b and b is only a 15 minute walk from Alnwick Castle and Gardens (which are both well worth the visit) and around the same for a choice of eateries. Our evening meal (kindly booked for us by David at the Coach House) at The Market Tavern was absolutely delicious. We also had an evening meal at The Fleece which was less formal but still lovely.

The owner phoned us prior to arrival with clear instructions on how to find the property, it is tucked away down a, quiet, lane. Easy to miss. Fabulous little property with a private courtyard garden with outdoor furniture. Inside everything you could possibly need. Breakfast choices were excellent and delivered to you at your chosen time each morning. The owner couldn’t do enough for us, recommended restaurants and offered to book for us, told us about local places to visit, very helpful.

“Wonderful experience”

The coach house b&b was exceptional host were very attentive, the guest house is finished to a very high standard. The b&b is located close to town with multiple choices of places to eat. Would definitely recommend the Coach house to anyone visiting this area.

The hosts were excellent and went out of their way to make sure that we had everything we needed, including booking us in at a nearby Inn for Sunday Dinner.

Stylish and comfortable. David and his wife were hospitable and couldn’t do enough to cater for all our needs during the stay. Breakfast was delicious including a very good stornoway black pudding!

I had a really fantastic stay. David and Bev were extremely attentive from start to finish, from calling me on the day of arrival to pass on directions to giving me recommendations for eating options in town. I was even given tea and cake upon arrival and there was real attention to detail. The room was very comfortable and quiet., and I enjoyed having my own space for breakfast (which was superb!). The house is walkable the centre of town, including the castle, and even closer to Barter Books. Parking was easy and secure. I'd thoroughly recommend this good value B&B and will stay here again if ever I'm up in Northumberland again. Thank you!
