“Wonderful 40th Anniversary holiday away.”

The property was a wonderful find. Clean, tidy and well maintained. Everything was just as you'd really like to find when looking holiday accommodation. Super location with the local pub providing lovely meals. Trips out on cold, wet and rainy days so the heating being on when returning, was really appreciated and meant we didn't put the fire on as we'd planned to do on our return. Really a home from home and so well equipped, everything has been thoroughly thought of. Our good friends joined us and I'm sure we'll return. PS - sorry about the soap dish that was damaged.

Beautifully decorated house, lovely and clean. Comfortable beds, fully stocked kitchen and delighted to be welcomed with tea, milk and biscuits after a long drive! Great views and nice outdoor area where we had a BBQ. Fun walking through fields down to beach and local pub!

“Excellent stay at Cheviot View”

Cheviot View was in an excellent location for a weekend stay to attend a family wedding at Newton Hall. The accomodation was warm and inviting with excellent facilities. It was spotlessly clean and comfortable. Ample parking is provided for multiple cars. Even though it is situated on a main road it was very quiet and the views out of the back over the fields are lovely. Lots of little extras provided such as tea, coffee,milk , biscuits , hand soap and toilet rolls. We would thoroughly recommend the accomodation for the above reasons

“Delightful house in a great location.”

Spotless. Lots of space for 4 adults, a toddler and a baby. Provided travel cot, linen and high chair. Even left us some baby wipes. Beds were comfortable and lots of space to hang clothes. Biscuits,tea coffee and some milk in fridge👍 Lovely view of sea from upstairs. The children enjoyed the dolphin and some of the games you left in the cupboard. A hairdryer in every room. Loved the washing machine for the children and hanging facilities inside and out. Lots of beach toys in garage. A lovely safe area in back garden to play. Great location to see lots of places in a short car journey.

The location of the property was really good not far from Newton by the sea beach, a short Drive away from seahouses and Alnwick, the property was very clean and well equipped

“Perfect base for a 40th birthday celebration in Northumberland”

Fantastic holiday in Northumberland based at Cheviot House. We enjoyed days out to the beaches, castles and parks but loved coming back to the house for evenings. The bedrooms were very comfy and the kitchen had everything for cooking meals. The boys loved the toys in garage too!

“Clean Cosy Comfortable Convenient wonderful !”

We were very pleased with everything.! As soon as we walked in, it was lovely clean cosy and comfortable for our stay that week. The bedrooms were perfect for us, the bathrooms lovely,the kitchen well equipped , lounge area comfortable . the location proved to be superb for the Alnwick Bamburgh Warkworth visits, everything about the week went very nicely and it was lovely to go back to Cheviot view after sightseeing , it felt very much like "Home" straightaway ! Thank you to the Owners, much appreciated

Very clean and lots of little touches added to make the stay even more comfortable. Very spacious rooms and a well equipped kitchen. The views from the garden made for a lovely morning coffee. Really good communication from the owners too.

Lovely house in a great location. Better than the photos. Very clean and spacious. Well equipped kitchen with everything you need. Quiet and lovely views from the back garden. The forecast looked wet but we were able to sit out on two evenings. Great value for money.
