Lovely old grand house ran by a lovely couple who were very friendly and nice. Perfect location to visit the local castle which is impressive, the dolmens at Posadas and the Medina Azahara near Cordoba.

A beautiful house in the very center of Almodovar del Rio, very well kept and meticoulusly renovated, keeping the original style of the late 19th century. From the roof terrace, you have the most spectacular view on the castle above, as well as onto the town square in front of the house. Highly recommended!

“Beautiful casa in a beautiful romantic village nearby Cordoba.”
A beautiful building at a cozy and romantic square in Almodovar Del Rio. Our room was nice and quiet during the night and we woke-up with the sound of birds. The breakfast was simple, but lovely. And from the roofterrace you have a nice view over the surroundings and the castle. Also the staff was really kind and helpful.

“Beautiful house on the village main square, great hosts!”
The owners were very friendly and accommodating. They took us a on a little tour of the property upon arrival. The property is beautiful - an old house in the heart of the village - and beautifully restored and well kept of, they are and can be very proud of their little gem on the main square of Almodovar. The location is perfect near a few restaurants and overlooking the main square. Bonus for the wonderful views of the castle from the terrace. The breakfast was good and varied too. We stayed only one night but enjoyed it a lot!

“Perfect stay after a late afternoon's castle tour.”
Completely restored traditional city house at the main square, tasteful furniture, private owners take care perfectly, parking nearby around the corner. Rooftop terrace with a free view to the castle.

“A beautiful building in the heart of a lovely Andaluz town.”
It was a beautiful building in the heart of town. On arrival I was given a guided tour of the building and shown the roof terrace. The palacio had been beautifully and thoughtfully renovated and the owners were justifiably proud of the results. Although I did not need it my accessible room on the ground floor was well equipped to accommodate those who need greater access. There was no problem parking my bicycle in an internal patio. The owners could not have been more helpful accommodating my requirements.

“Very comfortable stay, convenient for the town, everything worked very smoothly”
This is a really attractive historic building. The rooms are spacious and with high ceilings. The owners are very friendly and helpful. The location is on one side of the attractive central square of the town (and very close to excellent restaurants and the castle), but due to the thick walls and location of the bedroom it is very quiet in the hotel.
